"Respiro" will take you to a small fishing village on some Sicilian Island where it focuses on Grazia, a beautiful young mother who is either bipolar or just capricious with bouts of PMS or something in between. Regardless, her minor misbehavior becomes an issue with her family who wants to send her to Milan for some unknown fix. She doesn't want to go, she disappears, and yadayadayada. A fun little foreign frolic with a shallow story and little more than a lot of charm, personality, and rough seaside scenic beauty going for it, "Respiro" makes for an enjoyable watch though its lack of substance, story, and bells and whistles should put it the "must see when I get around to it" category.
