Julia Bolt is a documentary film producer based in the US. The Day I Had to Grow Up (2020), for which she received her first Executive Producer credit, received the Best Documentary award at the Kennedy Center in DC, Best Documentary Short and NY Filmmaker Award at Chain Film Festival, the Best Documentary Special Jury Prize at Anaheim International Film Festival, a Bronze Remi Award at the Houston International Film Festival, and the Mejor Cortometraje Documental at L'HIFF Film Festival in Barcelona. The Day I Had to Grow Up is available on Amazon, Apple TV, Tubi, RoKu, and XUMO. Her piece, Codeswitching, has been aired on PBS platforms all around the country. She is in production on a couple of anticipated feature documentaries, including SAMO Reborn: The Al Diaz Story, and Stolen Dough that covers the true story of the inventor of Stuffed Crust pizza. She is a creative producer for Women in Film and the Independent Documentary Association, and Manhattan Neighborhood Network.
