Itzel is a queer, mestiza Mexican-Canadian Actor and Script Supervisor based in Toronto.
She began her acting journey from a young age growing up in Mexico while taking theatre classes at Darinzka School of Performing Arts. After immigrating to Toronto, Itzel found ways to stay connected to the craft. In 2015, she began taking part in community theatre, and in 2018 she took her first on-camera acting class at the Pro-Actor's Laboratory.
Itzel's career in Continuity and Script Supervising began in 2019/2020 while studying under Daniela Saioni, Shane Scott, and Dug Rotstein. Her career professionally took off during the pandemic and she has worked alongside great directors and producers ever since.
In addition to her role as a Script Supervisor, Itzel continues to evolve as an actor. These professions, both in front and behind the lens, feed off of each other's wisdom, bringing her a lot of varied experience on every set.
