In 1969 she released an eponymous album together with Virgil Warner.
Hokom was one of the driving forces behind Lee Hazlewood Industries Records. She produced, among others, the album Safe at Home by The International Submarine Band.
She recorded "Summer Wine" with Lee Hazlewood in 1966, but the song was made famous by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood in 1967.
She was the creative and romantic partner of Lee Hazlewood, and she recorded a number of his songs in the second half of the 1960s.
