- Rod Thomas (born Rhodri Thomas) grew up in the South Wales Valleys before moving to London in 2004 and eventually New York in 2013. he has released three full-length albums under the moniker Bright Light Bright Light : 2012's 'Make Me Believe In Hope', 2014's 'Life Is Easy' (his first to enter the UK charts) and 2014's 'Choreography' which was a hit on both UK Official Charts and US Billboard Charts.
He has worked extensively with Sir Elton John who performs on four of his songs (three on 'Choreography', one on 'Life Is Easy') and toured the world as his opening act in 2014 and 2015. He has also toured with Ellie Goulding, Erasure, Scissor Sisters and John Grant. Actor Alan Cumming also appears on his album 'Choreography'.
