Jeffrey McKenzie's musical approach involves contributing to rich, emotional, cinematic experiences. He seamlessly weaves various styles from classical, lush orchestral, jazz, electronic, atmospheric, and any explorations that serve the dramatic needs.
His recent project collaborating on the documentary Liberty: Mother of Exiles was produced by HBO and Bravo and featured live orchestra recorded in Macedonia.
Since graduating from the Seattle Film Institute with a master's degree in film scoring, he's worked with David B. Steinberg, writing additional music for the documentary When the Beat Drops, TV shows such as Million Dollar Listing New York, High Command, and Dancing Queen, and for the Combustible Music Library.
He's also orchestrated for Robert Duncan (S.W.A.T.), Tyler Bates and Timothy Williams (Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw), and Cody Westheimer (Titanosaur). He has scored over 10 short films, and has written additional music for psychological thriller and comedy films on the Lifetime Channel.
