Ellen started her animation career in Tinyisland Productions in
Singapore in 2007, then later moved on to become an Animation
Supervisor and Head of Department for Animation. Her expertise is in 3D
Animation, with a passion for Character Animation, Acting and
Performance. Amongst other projects, she worked as an Animation
Supervisor on Cartoon Networks award winning Ben10: Destroy All Aliens.
Ellen has years of experience training and mentoring both animation teams during production, and animation students at Cartoon Networks Animation Academy and CG Protege Animation School. She trained students to a level where they could manage to build up a portfolio and successfully enter into the animation industry.
In terms of academic background, Ellen has a double Master degree from The University of Sydney, in Design Science - Digital Media and in Multimedia. She has also studied Character Animation at Animation Mentor, Gobelins Animation Summer School, CG Protégé Animation School, and she has also attended workshops with acting teachers like Ed Hooks and Robert Bennett. In addition to this she also has a technical background in computer science and engineering, which helps her tackle the technical aspects of CGI.
