Brooklyn Beckham is developing quite a following on social media, but he's nowhere close to his father David ... which pops was sure to remind him of ... in the most embarrassing way possible. The video's hysterical ... 16-year-old Brooklyn posted an Instagram video to celebrate crossing the one million line. David just had to poke his head in and put his son in his place ... by reminding him that 52 million people follow him on Facebook. Btw, David inflated it by 2 mil.

Ava DuVernay faced a daunting task in bringing “Selma” to the big screen. The drama, about the 1965 Civil Rights marches in Alabama to demand voting rights for blacks, had already been through several directors by the time she came on board.
Adding to the challenges, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s estate would not grant the team behind the film permission to use his iconic speeches. Still, DuVernay managed to put together a critically acclaimed drama which debuted strongly at the box office this weekend after Paramount pictures rolled it out in limited release. Thanksgiving is officially over, which means "Revenge" has finally returned from its Turkey-day hiatus and is serving up a giant plate of vigilante goodness -- a dish that is obviously best served cold. Last week, Emily saved her dad from being kidnapped by some random bad-guys (The Hamptons are literally the least safe place ever) and this week she decided to try her hand at torturing people. Good to know that her sense of right and wrong is so on point! Now, time for our recap.
Emily Dabbles In Torture, Enjoys It Way Too Much
As previously mentioned, Emily decides to hold one of David's would-be kidnappers hostage in her basement until he reveals that he was hired by a mystery man with "cops in his pocket," but fear not -- it isn't long before Nolan discovers what she's up to and frees her hostage. And speaking of Nolan, he...

There was a time, long before the internet, that I went out of my way to find out absolutely anything about a movie I was excited about. I begged my parents for issues of Fango, mailed away for catalogs, actually read the entertainment section of the newspaper, literally anything I could do to get information about a movie. Here we are, years later, and all of that information is literally in our hands at any given second, and I find myself going out of my way to not know anything about a film going into it. Word of mouth, hype, false praise, etc. run rampant these days and nine times out of ten, I find myself in total disagreement with the vast majority, be they positive or negative. We’ve all got our own taste in things, and there’s nothing wrong with that. As such, I like to form my own opinions.

The quiet brutality some people can suffer in everyday life is an aspect the horror genre doesn’t play up all too often. While horror films about zombies, chainsaw wielding killers and other assorted nasty folks are ten-a-penny, horror resorted in more “ordinary” troubles are rather more rare. The reason for this is fairly obvious, many audiences do not go to the cinema to be reminded of the misery which can come from real life and the more excessive the horror, the less real it can feel. The Canal is a film which seeks to bridge this gap, focusing both on a man going through some very real emotional difficulties while also delivering on horror elements we’ve seen many times before.

The Rover, David Michôd‘s highly anticipated follow-up to Animal Kingdom, is set in a world 10 years following the collapse of society. Recently, Wamg sat down with David Michôd, Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson in a small press conference to talk about the film. Check it out below!
In David Michôd’s new film The Rover the rule of the law has disintegrated and life is cheap. The film follows hardened loner Eric (Pearce) as he travels the desolate towns and roads of the outback. When a gang of thieves steals his car they leave behind a wounded Rey (Pattinson) in their wake. Forcing Rey to help track the gang, Eric will go to any lengths to take back the one thing that still matters to him. Michod also wrote the film based on a story he conceived with Joel Edgerton.

That's it! Finito! Goodbye! Yes, we've come to the end of the Britain's Got Talent auditions - and what a ride it has been. Read on as we round-up the good, the bad and the bizarre one final time...

Ellis James Chick: 12-year-old Ellis is basically the dictionary definition of 'cute as a button', but sadly, that on its own is not a talent. Luckily, Ellis also likes to sing - and dance ("I'm always jigging around.") He wasn't nervous ("hashtag Yolo!") and in the end, his performance of 'You Make Me Feel So Young' was surprising - his voice sounded much older than he was, in a good way. Very smooth. His struggle with alcoholism is ongoing and David Cassidy is back in a rehabilitation clinic after a drunk driving conviction on Monday (March 24).
The 63-year-old former teen heartthrob pled no contest to blowing a .19 after being pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer in January.
Cassidy was arrested twice before for DUI and now he’ll complete a 90-day rehab stint followed by five years on probation and a nine-month booze education class.
Following the arrest, David’s manager explained, "David just completed a stint in rehab and was doing very well in sobriety. He was in Los Angeles to attend depositions by Sony Pictures Television, respondents in a lawsuit filed by Cassidy in 2011 over what he claims are monies long due him from 'Partridge Family' merchandise, home video, etc. After attending his and his manager's depositions, it appears as if the pressure led to a brief relapse."...

Lesson of the day: Don't treat your unpaid interns like some little herd of free laborers, okay studios? Not only is in poor form (pun intended), but it can also land you on the receiving end of a big, fat lawsuit with the quickness.
That's just what happened with a pair of so-called "interns" on 20th Century Fox's production of "Black Swan," Alexander Footman and Eric Glatt, who've now won their federal case against the studio for mishandling their term on the set.
As detailed by The Guardian, the duo complained they were made to do menial little odd-jobs on the set of the 2010 Oscar-nominated Darren Aronofsky picture rather than anything remotely educational in nature ... despite that being what the law requires of would-be employers offering internships.
Presumably peeved about their lack of paycheck after essentially being reduced to production piss-ants, the two took the big dog studio to court...

But the dead giveaway came when he decided to stay and watch Cyrus on television while the rest of the team was busy. However, as we found out, he's not acting alone. The question that dominated social networking feeds at the end of the episode was: Who is Billy Chambers? Chambers is...

“Pieces of Talent” is a sick and twisted movie, showcasing a surprisingly sharp sadistic love for realistic gore but also a middling sense of how to tell a story. Fans of horror movies like “Hostel” and its sequels or the “Saw” series will find much to like here because it adheres to the tenets of the so-called horror subsection known as “torture porn.” All the bloody carnage is there on screen for you to see without much rhyme or reason why it escalates to show you such awful things. The case could be made for it trying to represent some sort of voyeuristic tendency in moviegoers to obsess over fictional images flashing onscreen, but the movie is far too concerned with the overt splatter of blood and guts to intellectualize any solid psychological discourse.

Although the original ending to Frank Oz's 1986 musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors has been on YouTube for years, Entertainment Weekly has brought us part of the catastrophic closer in color. We'll be treated with a Blu-ray director's cut of the film tomorrow. EW recently sat down with composer Alan Menken, who cocreated the musical production based on Roger Corman's 1960 black comedy that started it all. Menken shared a story about the 23-minute finale surrounding a nerdy florist, Seymour, who raises an exotic and strange Venus Flytrap-like plant that becomes sentient and desires human blood. During a test screening, Menken said, "I remember running over to David, saying, 'It’s fantastic!' and David just kind of looking at me. And...

When Frank Oz’s Little Shop of Horrors was released in 1986, fans of the cult 1960 Roger Corman B-flick (starring a very young Jack Nicholson) and those who’d seen the off-Broadway musical were shocked to see a major change in plot at the end of the movie: the hero and heroine live! It’s that version — the Oz version — that’s endured, with Ellen Greene as flower shop girl-slash-blonde bombshell Audrey and Rick Moranis as nerdy orphan-slash-amateur botanist Seymour. Obviously on a show called "Jane By Design," the double life exploits of high schooler/fashion assistant Jane (Erica Dasher) will take center stage. But in "The Online Date," Jane's older brother, Ben (David Clayton Rogers), is in the middle of the action.
While baseball coach Ben's relationship with guidance counselor Rita (Smith Cho) lasted about an episode on screen (two months off-screen), it's clear the two still have feelings for one another. Now that ex-mean girl Amanda (Briga Heelan) is back in town after a stint as an actress in Los Angeles, Rita has some competition for Ben's affection.
"She comes in and is like the popular mean girl opposite sweet Rita," Rogers tells Zap2it. "I believe she played a dead body on one episode of some crime procedural, so she comes back basically as the success story. She has not really gone through the maturation process that some others have.

I’m not entirely sure what to say about this one. I feel as though I should watch it a few more times, but even then, it’s so hard to pin down that…well, anyway. Two kids, David and Lynn, have their father die, leaving them orphans. They get sent to live with their grandparents, Spike and…Grandma. They might be serial killers. David has dreams of them hacking up a woman, and they see the woman everywhere. Eventually it turns out she may be the kids’ mom, who isn’t really dead, just crazy. So she’s the real killer—but who is the kids’ father? Is there incest involved? Who knows? I don’t think anyone does. Director Peter Rader included.
