Brad Jacobowitz
Brad Jacobowitz was born in The Bronx, New York, to parents Ernest and
Marlene. Jacobowitz's father was a police officer and his mother was a school
teacher. He is of Puerto Rican and Russian/ Polish Jewish descent. While attending Vanguard High School and Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida, Jacobowitz was a member of the NJROTC Batallion for 6 years. Jacobowitz also attended Government Affairs/Criminal Justice courses for 6 years where he was trained in CIA/FBI/NSA/DEA/ATF Tactical training. Jacobowitz trained to be a Green Beret in Fort Bragg, North Carolina within 1 year. He then trained to become a pro wrestler under the tutelage of Dory Funk Jr. Jacobowitz wrestled under the ring name Manny Montana. He wrestled for 7 years working for various wrestling promotions such as Xtreme Pro Wrestling, SCW Florida, Full Impact Pro, Florida Championship Wrestling, International Wrestling Federation. During his tenure at IWF, under the ring name Manny Vega, he had matches against Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Ultimo Dragon, Dean Malenko, Konnan, Meng, Steve "Mongo" McMichaels, Kevin Sullivan, Don Frye, Great Muta, Masihiro Chono, Shinjiro Otani, Antonio Inoki, Jushin Thunder Liger, MVP, Justin Credible, Mike Awesome, Mikey Whipreck, Billy Kidman, New Jack, Sandman, Dagon Briggs, Low Ki, Kahagas, Brian Gamble, Scott Hall, X-Pac, Gangrel, Bas Rutten, Sabu, Booker T, Ghostwalker, Red Crow and Navajo Warrior. He was also an independent consultant for WCW and WWE coming up with some important story lines during the "Attitude Era." Jacobowitz also started training seriously in boxing and MMA. Under the ring name, Manny Sosa, Jacobowitz pinned NFL Superbowl winner Steve "Mongo" McMichael's for the IWF Heavyweight Championship. He also fought in untelevised fights for K-1 Miami in mid 2002. While fighting for K-1 Miami, he had fights against Don Frye, Bas Rutten, Ken Shamrock, Rampage Jackson, Tito Ortiz and Jason "Mayhem" Miller. In 2007, Jacobowitz made a return to wrestling working his last match against Tyler Reks in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa, FL. He was a sparring partner of the former WBC Heavyweight Champion of the World, Deontay Wilder and fought Mike Tyson in an untelevised exhibition bout hosted by Don Imus and Bernard Mcguuirk. Jacobowitz was the voice of Vega in Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie(1994) He also had a bit part on Numb3rs episode "Jack of all trades." Jacobowitz wrote, directed, produced and starred in his first feature film,The Pizza Boy(2013). The Pizza Boy premiered in New York City
with good reviews. Jacobowitz has held over 100 jobs in his lifetime including OTR truck driver, NYC cab driver, correctional officer and construction worker. He is currently working on getting a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Jacobowitz is also attached to two feature film projects in development, The Uncanny X-men,(2028) and T9 Humankind(2030).
