This Friday, February 21, 2025, at 9:00 Pm Et/8:00 Pm Ct, Dateline NBC presents a gripping two-hour investigation into the tragic murders of teenagers Abby and Libby in Delphi, Indiana. Dateline correspondent Andrea Canning takes viewers inside one of the most high-profile cases in recent memory, where the discovery of a video taken by one of the victims played a pivotal role in solving the case.
Abby Williams, 13, and Libby German, 14, were murdered while walking on a popular trail in their small, close-knit hometown of Delphi. What made this case even more chilling was the revelation that Libby had recorded a video of the killer just before her death—an invaluable piece of evidence that ultimately helped law enforcement track down the murderer.
In this Dateline special, viewers will hear from key individuals involved in the investigation, including Delphi Sheriff Tony Liggett, Libby’s grandparents Becky and Mike Patty, and Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter.

Jeremy Renner has been involved in many kinds of projects in his career. While he is best known for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Hawkeye, he also dabbled in the beloved world of the Bourne franchise. In 2012, the actor took part in a reboot of Matt Damon’s beloved series, which came to be known as Bourne Legacy. Playing the role of Aaron Cross, the film got a lot of positive reviews from fans and went beyond their expectations.

Liam Neeson is at it again; the Irish actor is returning for yet another action film in which he embarks on a revenge-motivated spree of violence. In his renowned 2008 thriller Taken, Neeson follows his daughter halfway around the world after she is abducted by human traffickers. He tirelessly follows her tracks and vows revenge on those who hurt her.
His character, a former Black Ops agent, threatens the abductors with an iconic speech that ends with, "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you." This bone-chilling line summarizes the arc of Taken, and it cements Neeson's character as a determined, protective father looking for John Wick-style revenge.
On the other hand, Neeson's new film Retribution depicts the opposite of Taken. Where Taken has a father seeking to find the assailants and his children, Retribution follows Neeson as he evades assailants and desperately tries to protect his children.

The Bachelor became a cultural phenomenon quickly when it first aired in early 2002, giving viewers a courtside view of fairytale romance. While there had been dating reality TV shows in the past, nothing like The Bachelor had ever existed before. The idea of one man choosing from a pool of 20 to 30 women was beyond belief, and seeing it all happen as cameras looked on, filming everything for a television show was unheard of. Still, when The Bachelor premiered, no one could look away. The audience was quickly captivated by the series, and before long, it became appointment television week after week as the story unfolded.
For the early seasons of The Bachelor, the fame and notoriety that came with being the lead weren't as lucrative as it is now. Many felt ashamed of their turn as The Bachelor since reality TV wasn't as commonplace in the early 2000s, and it...

Director Nimród Antal’s Lionsgate release hits theaters Aug. 25 and is a remake of the 2015 Spanish-language thriller of the same name. The new version centers on Matt Turner (Neeson), who is driving with his kids when he learns from a mysterious caller that the car contains a bomb that will detonate if anyone exits the vehicle, leading to a high-speed chase throughout the city.
“Honey, something’s happened,” Neeson calmly relays in the trailer. “There’s a man who has put a bomb in the car. Under our seats, there are pressure triggers. We can’t get out. The car will explode.”
Later, the star loses his cool when the caller claims to be in control: “No, you’re not!

Wall Street executive takes his family on an explosive ride in Liam Neeson’s new action thriller Retribution.
Things are speeding up again for Liam Neeson. He's set to headline the upcoming independent thriller Retribution. Described as an updated and more compact Speed, the movie is a remake of the Spanish film El Desconocido (2015). The original, which starred Luis Tosar, was nominated for eight Goya Awards.
The screenplay for this new version was written by Chris Salmanpour and Andrew Baldwin.
Neeson will play a well off Wall Street executive who is told by an anonymous caller that bombs have been in his car, which he is driving with his family beside him. He is told the bombs will go off if he doesn’t follow a series of increasingly harrowing instructions.

He’s unraveled mind-bending conspiracies and tackled terrorism on a transatlantic flight, but for his latest StudioCanal shindig, Hollywood’s favorite action veteran Liam Neeson is headed to Wall Street.
Deadline has the scoop, revealing that the Irish actor has come aboard StudioCanal’s Retribution, the English-language remake of Spanish action-thriller El Desconocido. Filming is due to commence in the fall, and we understand Chris Salmanpour and Andrew Baldwin are the brains behind the script. No word on who will get behind the lens to direct, but Deadline is quick to point out that it won’t be Jaume Collet-Serra.
If that name rings a bell, it should; for the past six years, the Spanish filmmaker has ensured Liam Neeson’s particular set of skills extended far beyond the Taken franchise, after recruiting the 64-year-old to headline Unknown, Non-Stop and 2018’s action vehicle, The Commuter.

These days, it seems you can’t go to a film, turn on your television or surf the net without coming across Idris Elba and the army of adoring fans he’s amassed over the years. The English actor has been working overseas since the mid-1990s but really broke through in North America as Russell “Stringer” Bell on the critically acclaimed HBO drama The Wire.
Since then, Elba has headlined the popular BBC crime drama Luther and appeared in countless films, including the Thor series, Netflix drama Beasts of No Nation and this summer’s Star Trek Beyond. It's only a matter of time before Idris Elba is crowned the next Bond but between now and then, the British actor is content to make waves with a mix of Hollywood blockbusters and smaller releases. It pays to remember that Oscar winner Jared Leto doesn't star in movies very often, and tends to be particular about the roles he takes. Prior to this summer's appearance as The Joker in "Suicide Squad," the actor's last big screen turn was in "Dallas Buyer's Club" three years ago. So it's a little surprising the actor is lining up a new movie so quickly, but clearly, it's something that has caught his attention enough to sign on. THR reports that Leto will star in the thriller "The Outsider." Penned by Andrew Baldwin ("Bastille Day"), this post-wwii movie is set in Japan and follows a jailed American soldier who is freed by his Yakuza cellmate, and must navigate the criminal underworld and repay his debt. Sounds like it has some solid potential. And as a reader reminds us, this project was initially set up as a project for Tom Hardy...

Continuing a piping hot streak of diverse and challenging roles, Jared Leto has inked a deal to headline Martin Zandvliet’s WWII thriller as The Outsider.

Having headlined British crime drama Luther for three seasons, Idris Elba simply disappears into the role of a gruff and steely secret agent, and that’s exactly the archetype he’ll be portraying in James Watkins’ Parisian thriller, Bastille Day.
Watkins, best known for helming Eden Lake and Daniel Radcliffe-fronted horror flick The Woman In Black, is switching gears to dip his toe in the spy thriller genre. Elba, meanwhile, leads the charge as Sean Briar, the CIA’s top dog that’s dispatched on a mission to the French capital, only to unearth a seedy conspiracy that stretches far above anything he could’ve imagined.
In his journey, Briar crosses paths with professional trickster Michael Mason – played by Richard Madden of Game of Thrones – eventually deciding to team up with the crook to form an unlikely team.

The actor stars in a Paris-set thriller titled "Bastille Day," that will see him battle terrorists in the City of Light, in a project from Vendome Pictures and Anonymous Content, with James Watkins ("The Woman in Black") directing, from a script penned by Andrew Baldwin (he also scripted a "Bourne" sequel, which I suppose should give you some idea of what to expect from "Bastille Day"). Co-starring Richard Madden, the story follows Michael Mason...

Back in 2014, a rumor surfaced that Idris Elba was being sought to play the new James Bond, after Daniel Craig leaves the 007 franchise. While it has never been confirmed that Sony and MGM have been considering Idris Elba to take over as the iconic secret agent, fans will get to see the actor display his spy skills in a new action-thriller entitled Bastille Day. StudioCanal UK has released a new international trailer featuring the first action-packed footage.
The story centers on Michael Mason (Richard Madden, Game of Thrones), an American pickpocket living in Paris who finds himself in the hands of the CIA when he steals a bag that contains more than just a wallet. Sean Briar (Idris Elba, Avengers: Age of Ultron), the field agent on the case, soon realizes that Michael is just a pawn in a much bigger game and is also his best asset to uncover...
