It was quite the Teen Wolf cast reunion at the 2022 New York Comic Con on October 7th. Series creator Jeff Davis joined his returning Teen Wolf stars Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry, and Khylin Rhambo for a packed Teen Wolf: The Movie panel at Javits Center. Writer/executive producer Jeff Davis kicked off the panel discussing the inspiration for Teen Wolf: The Movie. “One thought was could we bring Crystal Reed back? TV Insider sat down with creator, Jeff Davis, and stars Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin about the project.
Davis revealed that "the studio wanted it," speaking of the formal pickup to the outlet.
Posey, who plays Scott McCall, said that he "wouldn't stop bugging him [Davis] about it."
Davis also said that there was the option of him not writing the movie, but he wanted to.
“I’m like, ‘I’m writing this. Nobody else is writing this,'” he shared.

We are so ready to head back to Beacon Hills after that trailer, Teen Wolf fans.
Paramount+ today revealed the official teaser trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie during the film’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The teaser trailer teases some big returns, but one that is sure to get the fans talking is the return of Allison Argent.
Allison died on Teen Wolf Season 3, but it sounds like there's a reason for her miraculous return from the dead.
"Allison, she's alive," we see Scott telling her father in an emotionally-charged scene.
Understandably, there will be plenty of questions surrounding how -- and why -- she's back.
Hopefully, the writers have some answers that work when telling such a tale.
The movie was written and executive produced by Jeff Davis.
The film will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and internationally, where the service is available.

The wolf pack is back. The first teaser for the upcoming film sequel to “Teen Wolf” was released at Comic-Con on Thursday, showcasing the return of the original show’s cast in the Paramount+ original movie.
One of the biggest reveals of the trailer came in the final moments, when Crystal Reed’s character Allison returns from the dead.
“I wanted to make sure I did the character justice,” creator Jeff Davis said at the “Teen Wolf” panel. “Having her back was amazing. I texted Crystal, ‘We don’t really have a story yet. I mostly have ideas but I always said if I was gonna do a movie, I would bring back Allison.’ She texted back and said that she burst into tears. She was in from that moment.”

No Derek, no problem!
Paramount+ dropped a flurry of casting announcements for its in-production Teen Wolf Movie on Friday afternoon.
Of the announcements, the biggest shocker is that Derek Hale's son, Eli Hale, will be a part of the drama.
Vince Mattos has landed the role, but there's still no confirmation on whether Tyler Hoechlin will return.
Speaking of the Hale family, Ian Bohen has closed a deal to return as Peter Hale.
Bohen is currently starring opposite Hoechlin on Superman & Lois, and that might be the closest thing to a reunion between the two stars we'll be getting.
Khylin Rhambo is also returning as Mason Hewitt, while new cast members include Amy Lin Workman as Hikari Zhang and Nobi Nakanishi as Deputy Ishida.

The cast of MTV's Teen Wolf assembled Friday as part of the network's new digital brand Reunions.
The event brought Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles Stilinski), and Holland Roden (Lydia Martin) back together.
They were joined by fellow Teen Wolf stars Orny Adams (Coach Finstock), Linden Ashby (Noah Stilinski), Ian Bohen (Peter Hale), Charlie Carver (Ethan), Max Carver (Aiden), Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura), Cody Christian (Theo Raeken), Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate), Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall), Khylin Rhambo (Mason Hewitt), and Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar) to talk about the beloved series.
While there was lots to talk about, the cast was asked to share what they took from the set when the series wrapped production, and well, we're a little surprised at what some of them got away with.
Ponzio revealed she asked the art department to print out a map of Beacon Hills, and they agreed to do so.

Could Teen Wolf stage a comeback at MTV?
Two of the original stars of the hit 2011-17 supernatural drama have taken to social media to reveal they would be open to returning for a reunion.
“Hey @MTV i think it’s time to bring teen wolf back for new episodes,” Tyler tweeted on Thursday.
“First Jersey shore family vacation. Now teen wolf high school reunion. I’m ready. And 28 so it’s an appropriate age.”
Tyler’s Teen Wolf co-star Colton Haynes retweeted him and added, “I’m in."
As expected, the tweets went down a treat with the show's millions of fans, who have been clamoring for more ever since the series went off the air.
One fan replied, “Don’T Mess With My Emotions Like That Tyler.”
TV Fanatic's Rachel Foertsch also responded to the original tweet from Posey with the following:
"I will sell my soul to see you,...
