"They only see what you want them to see." Horror icons always seem to be slashers…sure, we work a supernatural in there from time to time like a vamp or something like that. But the indie film Jonah Lives hopes the next icon comes in the rotting, undead variety…namely, their zombie, Jonah.
Written and directed by Luis Carvalho, Jonah Lives stars Brinke Stevens, Cesar Perreira, Jocelyn Padilla, James Barrett, Ryan Boudreau, Nicole Lasala, Rob Roy and Aaron Peaslee. It's a little bit zombie romp and a little bit Pumpkinhead-ish summoned beast revenge flick. Although no official announcement has yet been made, rumor has it that the folks behind the Rock and Shock horror convention were so impressed with what they've seen from Jonah Lives that they've already invited them to screen the film at their October festival in Massachusetts.
