Liliana was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. She moved to Florida in her teenage years and attended college in Miami where she graduated with honors with a double degree in Business Administration and Communication Arts from St. Thomas University. She received a full grad scholarship and obtained an MBA in International Business from the same institution. After completing her academic studies, she moved to New York to attend prestigious NYFA and pursue her film career. In production, Liliana co-founded Dhana Media a decade ago, a female-forward company with a slate of high end projects such as the life of Jenni Rivera, a Univision series based on the life of "La Diva de la Banda" under the title "Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jen que yo Conocí". Later on she served as Producer and Executive Producer for soccer legend Diego Maradona's series at Prime Video. Among her recent work, Liliana produced an unscripted docu-follow around the life of influencers Calle y Poché and their friends from childhood who grew up in the entertainment industry. The series titled "Calle & Poché, Sin Etiquetas" aired on Prime Video ranking #1 in Colombia and top 3 in seven countries including Mexico. Liliana serves as Executive Producer and Producer. She also serves as Director of the last four episodes. Simultaneously, another one of her shows aired on Roku. A cooking show pairing Abuelas and Generation Z cooks who dared to compete against the queen of the kitchen for a hefty cash price.
She recently launched her production company, La Perra Films where she's been developing a slate of more than 17 projects next to recognized writers, directors and Producers such as Patricio Rabuffetti (Nonstop), Christian Tappan (Guanaby Films/Narcos), Ricardo Avilés (Reputación Dudosa), Pipe Cano (El Comandante), Camilo De La Cruz Nassar (La Semilla del Silencio), Mateo Stivelberg (La Primera Vez), Pedro Dávila (Miracol Media), among others.
