- Don Taylor Atkinson (sometimes credited as "Don Atkinson") is a character actor appearing in a number of independent film and television projects, dating back to 1997. He is most widely seen in supportive roles, and has often portrayed police officers, detectives, federal agents, attorneys, doctors, firefighters, military officers and similar roles. His background prior to film and television work was in a variety of commercial roles, local theater, and earlier on as a stunt performer in both film and television projects. Before beginning his film career, he earned some notice as a radio and television voiceover artist. Don has trained with John Blythe Barrymore and the Famed Actor's Workshop in Los Angeles, and the Cinema Actors' Studio in San Francisco. - Well before any appearance on film or in television, Don Taylor Atkinson was involved deeply in the area of equine management and welfare, and in fact, earned a university degree in equine science. While he has many years of equestrian experience, he ironically has never appeared in a role which required him to be in the saddle.
