Though there is not yet any sign of a trailer, the selection of Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson's co-directed horror flick All Cheerleaders Die as part of the Midnight Madness section means we do at least get our first look at stills from the latest by the directors of The Woman and Brawler. Check 'em out in the gallery below.A high-school outsider's plot to revenge herself on the captain of the football team turns bloody when some phantasmagorical hijinks get tossed into the mix, in this refreshingly smart horror comedy from directors Lucky McKee (May, The Woods) and Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me). It is almost impossible to believe that "Survivor" just concluded its 25th season. Even more improbably, "Survivor: Philippines" was epic, destined to top all-time fan favorites lists for its engaging cast, roller-coaster twists and insane Tribal Councils.
"Dead Man Walking," the eighth episode, was the standout of an incredible season. The title refers to impossibly charismatic returning player Jonathan Penner's certain execution -- and the thrilling Immunity Challenge victory that spared his life in the game. Leading up to one of "Survivor's" most lively and astounding Tribal Councils, "Facts of Life" child star Lisa Whelchel transformed from America's Sweetheart to aggressive gamer. She betrays Malcolm first by revealing to Skupin and Pete that he found a Hidden Immunity Idol -- and then campaigning to blindside him next.
Party-boy Pete hilariously believes Malcolm's denials -- and boy is he in for a surprise at Tribal Council, where everyone is oversharing,...

"Supernatural" has never shied away from taking risks. We've seen the Winchesters on the set of "Supernatural," we've seen them as unwilling participants in a television pilot, we've seen them trapped in a multicam sitcom. This week's episode, "Bitten," is another one that strays outside the box: It's told mostly through "found footage" shot by a handful of college kids who, unbeknownst to the Winchesters, have caught Sam and Dean on tape.
It's one of the lighter episodes for Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, relying more on guest stars Leigh Parker, Brandon W. Jones, and Britni Sheridan for the bulk of the work.
"It was awesome," Jensen Ackles joked when Zap2it visited him on set this week. "We got some time off, got to enjoy our summer, it was brilliant. Make sure everybody writes in and says 'We want more found footage episodes.'"
It's definitely a new storytelling device for the show.

Have to keep the Sam and Dean Winchester fans informed, and while we are going into the Supernatural future, it’s a bit of a rewind as well for us because we’ve already shown you images for the episode after this one! This group of promo images we have from The CW is from “Bitten”, the fourth episode of Supernatural’s 8th season, which airs on The CW next week (this Wednesday you get “Heartache”). Looks like we have a bit of a Supernatural found footage adventure coming our way that the Winchester boys have to handle.
As I said previously, we have already brought you images to the episode after “Bitten”, and you can go check out the photo gallery for “Blood Brother” (8.05). Supernatural “Bitten” (8.04) airs on The CW on October 24th, and with the images we have the official episode summary:

We need to find out who does Jared Padalecki's hair for "Supernatural," and then we need to send them a thank-you note. His romance-novel-leading-man locks have been particularly spectacular this season, as evidenced by these photos from episode 804, "Bitten."
(And don't get us started on more pictures of Jensen Ackles in a suit. This is becoming gratuitous.)
As we previously reported, "Bitten" is the rare episode where the focus is actually directed away from the Winchester brothers. Instead, the episode is made up mostly of "found footage," featuring guest stars Leigh Parker, Brandon W. Jones, and Britni Sheridan as students investigating inexplicable animal attacks in their college town. Obviously, they aren't just animal attacks.
"You're living in this found footage, the boys bracketed on either side, in the opening and at the very end," executive producer Bob Singer told us . "But for 95 percent of the show, you're living in this found footage.

Supernatural has a new showrunner, Jeremy Carver, returning to the show after some time away helming Syfy’s Being Human, and it looks like he is working to strike a balance between giving fans something fresh and staying close to the show’s roots. Supernatural wouldn’t be the same without classic rock, and tonight’s season 8 opener delivered on that musical note straight away with Styx’s “Man In The Wilderness.” Tommy Shaw croons in the 1977 song, “Another year has passed me by / … What kind of man have I become?”
Indeed, that’s the question Sam and Dean will...

"Supernatural" fans have seen some pretty crazy episodes in the past -- there's been an old west episode, an episode where Sam and Dean are trapped in a series of television shows, and an episode where they're transported to the "real" world and confused for two shady characters named Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
Now, we'll see a unique "found footage" episode in the vein of "Chronicle," with a little "Paranormal Activity" thrown in for good measure. The fourth episode of Season 8, entitled "Bitten," will find Sam and Dean traveling to a college town to investigate a very strange murder. When they enter an apartment, they'll find two dead bodies and a laptop -- with a strange student film cued up and ready to play. The bulk of the episode will take place within the found footage, as Sam and Dean learn that they've unwittingly been cast in a creepy movie.
