Jodie Turner-Smith is a British actress and model, best known for her roles in films such as Queen & Slim (2019), where she starred alongside Daniel Kaluuya. Born in Peterborough, England, to Jamaican parents, she emigrated to the US and studied finance at the University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduating in 2008 she pursued a career in law before transitioning to acting.
