- Democrat US Congressman from Ohio, 3 January 1985-24 July 2002. Expelled from the House of Representatives 24 July 2002, pursuant to House Resolution (H. Res.) 495 passed on 24 July 2002. Was an unsuccessful independent candidate for election back to the House in 2002. He ran his campaign while serving a 7-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute, Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
