- Stephen was born in Queens, New York. He was raised in Elmhurst to a Colombian household.
He worked as an assistant for the Oscar Nominated film, "Jesus Camp" in 2006. During his first three years in college he wrote and directed his first sci-fi experimental feature 'I'M You'" he also directed and edited the feature length comedy, "A Wizzo's Tale".
In 2009 he wrote, directed, edited, and produced a documentary 'The Electro Wars'. The film featured interviews with artists Pitbull, Lil Jon, Diplo, Steve Aoki, Black Eyed Peas, etc. The film received global acclaim from dance music enthusiasts. It was screened in The Stockholm International Film Festival, The Rialto in Amsterdam, The Vista Theater, The Jackson Triplex and the Costa Rican International Film Festival.
In 2011 he produced and co-directed, "Rock N' Roll" for the artist, 'Skrillex'. It was his debut music video. In 2012 he directed and edited, "IDGAFOS" the first music video for artist, Dillon Francis. In 2012 he produced "Purple Swag" for the artist, "A$AP Rocky". In 2015 he produced "Giant In My Heart" for the artist, 'Kiesza'. In 2021 he developed and created a web series, "Off The Decks".
