Colton Tapp
- Actor
- Producer
- Writer
In recent sci-fi thriller, "Expulsion", Colton stars as two versions of Scott from alternate universes that have incidentally clashed together. He leads the sci-fi thriller with Lar Park Lincoln (Friday 13th, Knots Landing) supporting as Shana, a cold-blooded corporate leader. Nominated for best actor at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Tapp played a dual-lead character role as both the talented corporate physicist creating a multi-dimensional portal and the manipulative, charming darker alter ego from the other side. The industry took notice at the stark contrast between roles and at first thought multiple actors were playing the two parts, only to be shocked when learning he played both roles. Some thought it was twins playing the two roles separately.
Tapp leads as the sane youngster of a wild family alongside Barry Bostwick(Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City), Mariette Hartley (The Incredible Hulk, Encino Man) and Meg Foster, in drama-driven family tragedy, "Three Days In August".
In "The Ghandi Murder", a big budget film shot in Sri Lanka for worldwide release, starring Steven Lang (Avatar 1 & 2, Don't Breathe) and Vinnie Jones (XMen), Colton Tapp supports as John Wilkes Booth in the historical drama about India's revolutionary thought leader and it's parallels to American revolutions.
Working within the confines of a simulated space shuttle in "The Boundary" alongside Neil De Grass Tyson (Cosmos), Colton played a military fighter pilot, recruited by NASA to undergo the world's first mission to the edge of the universe.
Colton Tapp is a native Texan and was raised on a cattle ranch near Dallas, TX.
