Martin Zeil
1975 Abitur in Starnberg. Studied law at the University of Munich, first state examination in 1981 and second state examination in 1984 in Munich.
Joined the legal department of Bankhaus H. Aufhäuser in Munich in 1984, admitted to the bar in 1985, head of the legal department of Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers, Munich and Frankfurt/Main, since 1998.
Member of the Board of Trustees of Förderverein Kurt Fordan für herausragende Begabungen e. V., Munich.
Member of the FDP since 1974, co-founder of the Junge Liberale (Young Liberals), 1981 to 1983 state chairman of the Julis, active in the Gauting local association and the Starnberg district association, where he was chairman from March 2001 to November 2005, 1987 to 1999 member of the district executive committee of the Upper Bavarian FDP, 1995 to 1999 district chairman, 1995 to 1998 and since December 2000 member of the state executive committee, 1997 to 1999 member of the executive committee of the FDP Bavaria. Since 1990 member of the Starnberg district council, since 1996 parliamentary group chairman, 1996 to 2002 deputy district administrator of the Starnberg district; since 1990 member of the Gauting municipal council, 1990 to 2002 parliamentary group spokesman, from May 2002 to October 2005 honorary 2nd mayor of the municipality of Gauting.
