Actor Himanshu Malhotra is seen as Major Rajeev Kapoor in Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer ‘Shershaah’. As the movie has completed an year recently, he recalls working in it and shares a few BTS moments from the sets.

Mumbai, March 4 (Ians) Actress Ruhii Singh playa a pivotal role in the upcoming web series "Chakravyuh: An Inspector Virkar Crime Thriller". She says the show has given her a chance to play a multilayered character -- the sort she always looks forward to.

"I like to explore different types of roles and 'Chakravyuh' gave me the perfect opportunity. In this web series, I play a girl who is suddenly faced with the horrors of the dark web and is desperately trying to fight her way out of it. She experiences a lot of hardship, frustration and emotional turmoil," Ruhii said.

How much worse can the Ott-sponsored feature-film premieres get? If this is the third-degree torture we deserve during lockdown than God save civilization. Cinema, of course, is already doomed because everything and anything is now served up as a feature film. Khuda Hafiz has the seeds of a solid thriller planted at its epicenter: a husband enters a bloodied Muslim country in search of his missing wife.

In this case the country is a fictional device named Noman echoing Oman and No Man’s land, it is just about the most inventive factor you will encounter in this action-packed nonsense. Well intended, no doubt. But crafted with all the delicacy of a sledgehammer falling on a nail.

Very often, the background score is so loud it drowns out the dialogues. Not that they are worth hearing.

With the show's popularity going through the roof with every passing day, the second season of Love Lust and Confusion sure has the audience hooked to their screen. A while back we had reported that Mickey Virus director Saurabh Patel's next venture initially titled Meet The Patels had undergone a name change to be rechristen as Solid Patels. Now while the shoot of the film has long since been wrapped, we hear that the makers of the film have decided on changing its release date. In fact Solid Patels that was set to release on April 24 will now release on May 22. "Yes we have postponed the release of Solid Patels. It will now hit screens on May 22," confirms the film's associate producer Raj Malik. The film is based in Mumbai and is about two Gujarati boys Tom Patel and Jerry Patel who know how to live life to the fullest and would do anything to get their love of life except hard work. Shiv will play the very odd Tom Patel while another actor will be rope in soon to play Jerry Patel.

Mumbai, Oct 18: Aditi Rao Hydari is happy with the response to "Boss", but wishes she had more to do in the film.

"I count my blessings. It is a very male-dominated film. But when there is only one girl in such a film, she feels like a breath of fresh air," the 26-year-old said here Friday at the inauguration of Glitter 2013, a wedding exhibition.

The industry had taken notice and then Akshay Kumar came calling and cast him in Boss. Tell us how you landed the role in Boss.

I landed the role because I got a call from my producer, who had my earlier film Shaitaan, and he had liked it and he called me to his office and made me meet Mr. Akshay Kumar and then the two of them offered me the film.

So how was that first meeting with The Akshay Kumar?...

Though still relatively knew to the Hindi film space, actress Aditi Rao Hydari certainly has made an impression. She made her Hindi film debut in Delhi 6, then starred in Yeh Saali Zindagi, appeared in Rockstar, starred with Ali Zafar in the romantic London Paris New York, and most recently was seen as the lead in thriller Murder 3. It’s quite the eclectic and cool mix of genres and roles, and with each performance she has been given great reviews.
