Morgan Samuel(I)

Morgan is a Freelance Sound Engineer and Musician based in Te Awamutu - a small rural town in the grassy meadows of the Waikato region, New Zealand. He has been working in the creative industry for 13 years, 10 of which were spent on the heart of Wellington's film industry. During this time he has worked in Film, TV, Music and Theatre in roles varying from Sound Designer, Sound Mixer, Dialogue & SFX Editor through to Musical Composer. Morgan is in high demand both locally and Internationally.

Morgan finished work on Peter Jackson's Hobbit Trilogy at the end of 2014, and has since relocated north to the Waikato region where he is working remotely with international clients from his home studio. In the past he has worked on such productions as The Adventures of Tintin, District 9, The Lovely Bones and 30 Days of Night.

International clients include Facebook, NFL, ESPN, Twitter, Dropbox, NCAA, Bupa, Melcher Media New York, JMPH London, World Rugby Shop, The Alternative Rugby Commentary, London Warriors and many other projects by Fraser Davidson - a BAFTA Award Winning Director, Animator and Designer who is the co-founder of animation house Sweet Crude as well as Founder and Creative Director of Sports Branding Agency Field Theory. Fraser now owns and operates Cub Studio.

In 2012 Morgan won a MPSE Golden Reel Award for best Sound Editing on an animated feature as ADR Editor on Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin.
