Katy Perry, who has recently faced some online criticism over her participation in the Blue Origin space flight and her current Lifetimes Tour, says the haters treat her like a “human Piñata” but that she takes comfort in her supportive fan base and concert audiences.

In a lengthy Instagram post addressing her fans, Perry, who currently is currently on the road with her Lifetimes Tour, said in part, “My therapist said something years ago that has been a game changer, ‘no one can make you believe something about yourself that you don’t already believe about yourself’ and if I ever do have any feelings about it then it’s an opportunity to investigate the feeling underneath it.

Katy Perry is well aware of what’s being said about her right now.

And now she has something to say in response.

As most celebrity gossip and entertainment news know at this point, Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King and Perry were launched into space this month as part of a mission aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket.

The mission lasted for approximately 11 minutes.

The rocket was filled with only females and some folks out there have tried to argue that this whole trip was some kind of notch in the belt of the feminism movement.

Those on the other side, however, point out that the staged event was only afforded to passengers who could pay $150,000 per ticket.

Katy Perry is reacting to the hate she has been receiving on the internet in recent weeks.

The 40-year-old singer has faced backlash from her own peers over her decision to travel to space on the Blue Origin flight and her Lifetimes Tour shows have been mocked by some of her haters.

Despite all of the negativity online, Katy‘s fans have been rallying behind her and they paid for a billboard in New York City’s Times Square to express their love for her.

Katy reacted with a sincere comment on Instagram and addressed both the love and the hate.

Lily Allen is backtracking her recent criticism of Katy Perry and the Blue Origin space flight.

After the all-female space flight earlier this month, Lily, 39, and her Miss Me? podcast co-host Makita Oliver, slammed the event, calling it “so out of touch.”

“Do we want to talk about Katy Perry and her mates all going up to space for 12 minutes?” Lily questioned. “I mean, what the f–king hell is that all about? But in all seriousness: What? Why? For why?”

“We’re on the brink of recession, people are really fucking struggling to make ends meet and get food on their table,” the English singer added. “I don’t know about how things feel in London, but in New York it feels f–king expensive at the moment. It’s hard to leave the house without spending $500 — and I’m not even joking.”
