Shannon Currie (Shannon Leigh Currie) was born in Toronto, Ontario on May 25th. Shannon attended Unionville High School in Markham, Ontario. She is the oldest of two siblings; sister, Amanda, and brother, William of the Canadian indie rock music group 'Will Currie & The Country French'.
Currie received her B.F.A. in Acting from the University of Windsor and is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada's Acting Program.
Shannon is best known as an established Theatre actress and was nominated for the Capital Critics Award for Best Actress for her performance of Elvira in 'Blithe Spirit' (2016) alongside Krista Colosimo and Stephen Gartner. She has also appeared in a variety of films and notable television series including 'Saving Hope' (2014) and 'Warehouse 13' (2010).
