Asa Butterfield and the rest of the cast return for festive follow up Your Christmas Or Mine 2, here’s the trailer.
Your Christmas Or Mine landed on Amazon Prime last year, and it went down really rather well.
The plot saw Asa Butterfield and Cora Kirk play young couple James and Hayley who, upon deciding that they don’t want to be apart for Christmas after all, get on each other’s respective trains and find themselves at the others’ family home. Fuelled by farcical misunderstandings, the film is a solid slice of festive fun. It’s no Planes, Trains & Automobiles of course, but then again, what is.
Still! We’re getting more of it, and Your Christmas Or Mine 2 looks set to stick to the same formula. Think of it as a bit Home Alone 2 to Home Alone, if you will.
The synopsis reads as follows:...

Daniel Mays has hurt his back. “It’s causing me a bit of gyp,” the Line of Duty star admits. “I’m just getting to be an old fart now. But that’s the hazards of the job, I’m afraid.” I’m speaking to him over video from his home in north London. The “job” in question is a new series about one of the Founding Fathers of America, Benjamin Franklin (Michael Douglas), for which Mays has been going back and forth to Paris to film. “Obviously it’s set in 1776 or whatever, and I have to wear those period shoes with heels,” he explains. “So your weight distribution is thrown forward. It’s like when you used to listen to women go, ‘I can’t wear high heels all night,’ because it ruins the small of their back.” He smiles. “My transvestite days are over, let’s put it that way.

Review Jake Laverde 24 Jul 2013 - 06:40
Jake checks out episode 1 of Pappy's sitcom, Badults, which contains the seed of something great, but has some growing up to do...
This review contains spoilers.
1.1 Money
Badults is the first TV series for acclaimed sketch troupe Pappy's, originally known as Pappy's Fun Club, though it's not their first attempt having piloted a self-titled sketch series and The Mr and Mrs Hotty Hott Hot Show for Channel 4 previously. The premise is that Matthew Crosby, Tom Parry and Ben Clark all live together, joined by childhood friend Rachel, played by Emer Kenny. Older readers may remember fantastic anarchic trio The Goodies and their inspired cartoon flights of fancy. It's that kind of tone Badults is going for.
The working title for Badults was 'The Secret Dude Society'. Though it may seem like an innocuous assortment of words, it also hints at the flaws running through the first episode.

And what on earth is a "badult"? Read on to find out.
What can you tell us about your new show Badults?
"It's about three friends who are bad at being adults. They don't really want to grow up, they don't want to engage in the real world. They're three guys who have been best friends since they've been at school.
"They made a pact that they were one day going to live together, and now here they are facing adulthood and all the responsibilities that come...

When Digital Spy recently spoke to Tom Parry - one third of comedy troupe Pappy's (alongside Matthew Crosby and Ben Clark) about their upcoming sitcom Badults, conversation inevitably turned to the group's famous podcasts.
As a creator of the award-winning Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown live panel show and scripted/improv Bangers and Mash, we wanted to know what Tom thought about the success of the format.
> Pappy's talk 'Badults': 'A British version of an American sitcom'
"I was really surprised," said Parry. "Matthew was a really big podcast fan and was always saying we should do a podcast.
"I was game for it because what I like about podcasts is that they're so Diy. The great thing about comedy is that it's Diy.
"If you want to go into theatre you have to set up a theatre company, you need a budget, you need to get people to support you so you can go and perform.

Emer Kenny (EastEnders, Beaver Falls) will appear in the comedy - the title of which refers to young people who are 'bad at being adults'.
