Mark Anderson(XXVIII)
- Producer
- Writer
A native of Western New York (Williamsville and Ashville), Mark
Anderson attended Nyack College in the beautiful Hudson River Valley
and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English. Fresh out of
college, he landed with The Editorial Department, Inc., a group of
independent book editors and some of the first "book doctors" in the
U.S., where he developed unpolished writers into published authors.
From there, he moved to the Pacific Northwest and took a job with Doral
Publishing as the editor and associate publisher, overseeing several
award-winning projects. When Doral relocated to Arizona, Mark returned
to freelance editing, writing, and graphic design. After several years,
he returned to his first love, writing, and his first-ever screenplay,
Tribunal, won several awards. A twist of fate led him to Dirt Poor
Films, where he wrote an original screenplay (The Redemption Project),
and re-wrote another, (ASL), which then moved into production in August
2007. He is in the process of writing two more screenplays and a pilot.
