Dimension Films has added a new low budget horror project to it's slate. Deadline reports that they picked up Garden District, a spec script penned by Tony Jaswinski and Luke Goltz. The horror thriller is about "a trio of self-declared mythbusters who get in over their heads while investigating what they think is just another hoax. It involved a mysterious video of a vampire’s execution that goes viral, and the mythbusters head to New Orleans to see if it’s phony." It will be produced by David Kirschner and Corey Sienega, with Matt Signer overseeing the project for Dimension.

Dimension Films has acquired the rights to the vampire thriller "Garden District" says Yahoo.

When a mysterious video of a vampire's execution goes viral, a trio of ambitious sceptics head to New Orleans to determine the video's veracity.

They soon find themselves up against dark forces and in over their heads. Anthony Jaswinski and Luke Goltz penned the script.

David Kirschner and Corey Sienega are producing.

Dimension Films has announced the acquisition of the vampire spec script Garden District. Written by Tony Jaswinski & Luke Goltz, the story involves a viral vampire execution video that may be real:

Garden District is a low-budget horror thriller about a trio of self-declared mythbusters who get in over their heads while investigating what they think is just another hoax. It involved a mysterious video of a vampire’s execution that goes viral, and the mythbusters head to New Orleans to see if it’s phony.
