Kate Scott is an American producer. At age 11, she began expanding her career from child actor to serving as Executive Producer for Rising Sun (2012), an exceptionally diverse and all-inclusive family T.V. Pilot. By age 14, she graduated high school and, at 21, was the youngest candidate to complete her Master of Science from Pepperdine University in Malibu. Her previous degree with the highest Summa Cum Laude Honors in Pre-Law was from GCU while concurrently earning Dean's Academic Honors and remaining a Presidential Scholar. She also obtained a Fine Arts degree at 16 with Honors from El Camino College in Torrance, CA. At 19, she completed Harvard Business School's Certificate program in Entrepreneurship, affirming that her mind is as strong as her artistry.

At 14, she had booked the opening scene promo for Nickelodeon's Bella and the Bulldogs (2015) as a Cheerleader, and within weeks from that went from child actor to hiatus, becoming a full-time college student. It was a conscious choice even after working with Adrien Brody, Octavia Spencer, Carmen Argenziano, Garrett Wang, Lorenzo Lamas,Holly Marie Combs, James Garner, and Kaley Cuoco. On her own terms and schedule, a then full-time 15-year-old college sophomore produced and directed several more of her own projects, such as #Disneyland60 (2015) that was an Official Selection at the 2015 L.A. Shorts Film Festival. Two years earlier, that same Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying L.A. Shorts Fest also screened the comedy film Way of Seeing (2013) in which Kate played a "mom" to Dagney Kerr. #Disneyland60 (2015) won Best Documentary at AOF. That same year, her Shaolin Kung Fu documentary Game Changer (2015) was an Official Selection at AOF. Kate won a Best Young Filmmaker and Stella Adler Scholarship, too! Game Changer (2015) (2015) earned Kate a Best Leading Young Actress nomination at the 2016 Young Entertainer Awards at Universal Studios. She returned for two more YEA nominations, in which one was a win for her Voice-Over work in 2018. That coincided with two Young Artist Academy nominations and her Voice-Over work on the "revival" series based on the 'Suspense' 1940-50s CBS original radio anthologies. The last doc she executive produced while in school was the uplifting and inspiring 1 (2016) documentary which featured Tiffany Haddish, A.C. Green, and Terri Simmons who are all committed to "being of service," particularly paying it forward. At 18, she began "aging out" of youth awards. She was then honored with the inaugural "Inspiration to Youth" Award by the Young Artist Academy for their exciting 40th Annual Award Show in July 2019. Kate's compassion and commitment to representing positive youth in media, filmmaking, and education earned her that recognition. The honor was presented by her dear friend, Marilyn Ghigliotti. Kate leaves behind screening at festivals worldwide due to the easy visibility of her own creative videos on social media platforms.

This multi-faceted California prodigy has fond memories as a former child actor to match her growing accolades for a long-term career in various industries. Her hiatus actually became a chance to delve into becoming a stronger producer, allowing for exceptional educational online content during the COVID-19 pandemic. She spoke at the '21 Educator's Rising National Conference on her stellar, highly developed, copy-written presentation, 'Learning, Inclusion, & Technology in The Modern Classroom.' It's available on YouTube. Kate is a Game Changer who keeps making hard work seem effortless despite having a deceased father from cancer and a mom struggling over 30 years with chronic illness. She represents education and literacy as a mentor and is very honored to be a Game Planner for the 3-time NBA Champ A.C. Green Youth Foundation's summer leadership sports camps. She comes from a humble home, and she's managed to consistently give back to her community. With God's grace, this unpretentious, highly intelligent, and caring young lady continues to focus on faith, family, and education. She remains open to positive and exciting ideas for the future.
