The 2010s were an underrated decade when it comes to movies that are so bad that they're amazing, with multiple strong contenders for the specific subgenre of awful movies that are impossible to look away from. When it comes to the best "so bad they're good" movies, the 90s and early 2000s tend to dominate, with classics like Troll 2 and The Room being classic examples. But more recent years have proven that such delicious garbage never stopped being produced.
Laughably bad movies from the 2010s tend to come in two primary flavors; big-budget studio investments that were huge misses and poorly-conceived indie movies made for pennies. Both offer their own unique brand of potent failure, from major decisions that were bafflingly agreed upon by huge studio executives to single-minded visions of bizarre cinematic auteurs that give Tommy Wiseau a run for his money. For those that can appreciate a uniquely terrible film,...

Netflix has recently been the place to find Adam Sandler thanks to his huge first-look deal with the streamer, but now fans of the actor are also enjoying his 2011 romantic comedy Just Go With It. The film has surged up the U.S. Netflix chart since arriving on the platform, allowing audiences who flocked to watch Sandlers team-up with Jennifer Aniston in two Murder Mystery movies to see the pairs first collaboration.
Just Go With It is a typical Sandler offering, in which he plays successful plastic surgeon Daniel Maccabee, who pretends to be in a failing marriage to avoid commitment. When he finally meets a woman he does actually want to have a relationship with, he asks his assistant, Kathrine played by Aniston, to pretend to be his soon-to-be-ex-wife. More often than not, a film's remake doesn't live up to the original. Add Adam Sandler's comedy into the mix of a remake, and it will certainly be a stinker. Sandler's 2011 film Just Go with It marked a low point for the actor's career, winning the actor a Razzie for his performance, even though it was based on an Oscar-winning film.
The plot of Just Go with It focuses on Adam Sandler's character, Dr. Danny Maccabee when he gets caught in a lie while wooing a girl. Danny still owns a wedding ring from a marriage that never lasted past the wedding day, and as he's flirting with a teacher, she finds his ring. She thinks he's using her to cheat on his wife, but he tells her he's going through a divorce. He convinces his assistant, played by Jennifer Aniston, to pretend to be his wife, so he can keep up the lie.

The Just Go with It cast is full of A-list movie stars like Adam Sandler and Nicole Kidman and acclaimed comedy talents like Kevin Nealon and Rachel Dratch. A remake of the classic 1969 farce Cactus Flower, Just Go with It reimagines the tale of lies and deception as a feel-good romantic comedy. A cosmetic surgeon recruits his office manager and her kids to pose as his family to woo his latest love interest. In line with rom-com traditions, true love is right in front of the main character as he falls for his fake wife.
Just Go with It was one of Adam Sandlers biggest hits at the box office, grossing roughly $215 million worldwide (via Box Office Mojo). Just Go with It's soundtrack features the perfect mix of songs to usher the story toward every step of the way. The romantic comedy stars Adam Sandler as a plastic surgeon whose big move is to pretend he is married so he can hook up with women without ever having to call them again. However, when he thinks he has found a girl he would want to marry for real, he needs his work assistant (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife. Of course, this leads to an even more outrageous series of events and an unlikely love story.

Hollywood history is full of huge successes that have defined the film industry for more than 100 years, making the process of creating the art of movies a multi-billion dollar enterprise. Adam Sandler's character in Just Go with It gets the girl in the end, though not the one he was initially going for. The 2011 romantic comedy stars Sandler as Danny, a plastic surgeon whose heart was broken when he found out his fiance was cheating on their wedding day. He called the whole thing off, but this ultimately led to his realization that wearing a wedding ring and pretending to be stuck in a horrible marriage made it easier to pick up girls. Danny used this method for decades until he met the much younger Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) and fell in love.

With combined star power and charming chemistry, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston's collaborative movies have proven they are a wonderful cinematic pairing. Sandler and Aniston made big splashes in the '90s, and their careers continued to pick up steam in the following decades until they became Hollywood giants. Sandler's antics made him a comedy legend, while Aniston's more understated turns make her the perfect foil for any goofball co-star. Though it took years for the duo to finally appear together, the pairing immediately proved to be a perfect match, leading to a follow-up that reunited them again.
Starting in 2011 with Just Go with It, Sandler and Aniston's chemistry on screen was immediately apparent, and their individual styles managed to elevate each other's performances. The key to the success of the Sandler/Aniston films has been her ability to go along with his over-the-top comedy without ever being overshadowed.

One of Jennifer Aniston's most classic rom-coms of her career is finding success nearly 15 years after release. Just Go With It, the 2011 romantic comedy starring in which Adam Sandler also stars opposite Aniston, has made its way into the top 10 most popular movies on Peacock. The film falls just short of M. Night Shyamalan's Old, which is enjoying success while Trap is still playing in theaters, but beats out both Men in Black sequels and also the Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock rom-com, The Proposal. In addition to Aniston and Sandler, Just Go With It also stars Nicole Kidman, Brooklyn Decker, Nick Swardson, and Dan Patrick, and currently sits at a dismal 19% score from critics but a 59% rating from general audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

The latter outcome is the case for some film adaptations that have become remembered for being largely disappointing.

King learned that she officially landed on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
It was unexpected for King, who received the big news from model Kate Upton during the morning program.
“It’s right here,” Upton said, handing King a copy of the magazine featuring her cover.
Upon seeing it, she raised both arms, screamed excitedly, clapped, and bounced up and down in her seat.
“I’m on the cover?” she asked amid more screaming, sharing that she thought she would only be featured “on the inside” of the magazine.
King didn’t believe her Si Swimsuit Issue cover
During the exciting televised moments, King’s co-host told her, “You are officially Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl.”
“Is that a dummy cover?” the 69-year-old CBS Mornings host asked to check if they were pranking her on TV.

As the WGA and SAG-AFTRA continue their fight for fair pay and protections in Hollywood, Netflix has been under constant fire of for the severe lack of residuals, and pay in general, the platform has paid out to some of its biggest hits. Orange Is the New Black's cavalcade of talented regulars had no shortage of horror stories regarding the lack of pay for the series that put the streamer on the map, a sentiment echoed by Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul and the writers of the surprise hit Suits among others. Add another unjustly underpaid star to the mix as Grace and Frankie star Brooklyn Decker revealed she received no residuals from the mega-hit in an exclusive story from The Messenger.

After seven magnificently funny and poignant seasons, Netflix’s “Grace & Frankie” is coming to an end with the airing of its final episodes starting April 29. When “Grace and Frankie” debuted in May of 2015, it’s doubtful even creators Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris or stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin would have expected the show to have such long-lasting sucess. But the Netflix comedy was a juggernaut hit for the streaming platform, and kind of a unicorn in terms of its longevity. Upon its final season, which arrives this month, “Grace and Frankie” is the longest-running Netflix original series in the history of the service. But as the old adage says, all good things must come to an end.
On Thursday, the official trailer for the seventh and final season of “Grace and Frankie” was released by Netflix and the marketing materials tease an emotional farewell to the long-running comedy series.
The synopsis for the season reads as follows:

Legendary actresses Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin have broken records and barriers during their respective, half-century spanning careers, but the two icons are still making history, by leading Netflix’s longest-running original series.
“Grace & Frankie” returns for Season 7 April 29, with both Grace (Fonda) and Frankie (Tomlin) looking to the end.
“I’d rather take a crazy ride with you than a normal ride with anybody else,” Grace tells Frankie, who proposes a “Thelma & Louise”-style sendoff.
From reflecting on the “wasted time” with the men in their lives to facing fears, the two characters have redefined what it means to “act your age.”
“I’m 80 years old,” Grace says in the trailer. “I’ve earned the right to take my sweet fucking time.”

The end is approaching for Grace and Frankie, and we are not ready to say goodbye.
Netflix on Thursday dropped a full-length trailer for the final 12 episodes of the heartwarming comedy series.
The trailer is essentially a celebration of our titular leads' relationship, which has taken many forms throughout the seven seasons.
Whatever anyone says about their friendship, it cannot be denied that they love each other deeply, and their lives were forever changed when they were bonded forever.
"Seven years ago, Grace and Frankie’s lives turned upside down when their longtime husbands left them for… each other," the logline teases.
"Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, Grace and Frankie formed an unlikely and unbreakable bond as they faced uncertain futures head-on, and hand-in-hand."
"They’ve laughed together, cried together, did shrooms together, and twice-over became successful entrepreneurs together," it continues.

“It was a crazy ride but I’d rather take a crazy ride with you than a normal ride with anybody else.”
So says Grace (Jane Fonda), as she and best roomie Frankie (Lily Tomlin) prepare for the end of Grace and Frankie, Netflix’s longest-running original series. By the time it’s all over this season, the comedy from Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris will have made a whopping 94 episodes.
The trailer for the seventh and final season that returns April 29 looks back at the good times, and those memorable moments when Grace dropped the F-bomb to make an important point. For those who haven’t sampled the laugher that also stars Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston (and seriously why have you not?), the comedy is about a pair of divorcées (masterfully played by Fonda and Tomlin) whose husbands left them to marry each other.
