The series comes from Jonas Pate, creator of Outer Banks, the series which featured The Runarounds band during an episode in Season 3. New names to join The Runaways cast include Brooklyn Decker (Just Go with It), Maximo Salas (Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies), Marley Aliah Hayes MacArthur (Angie Tribeca), Mark Wystrach (The Eyes of Tammy Faye), and Shea Pritchard (The Summer I Turned Pretty).

Prime Video is rounding out the series regular cast for The Runarounds, a fictional YA drama, inspired by the real band of the same name, from the creators of Outer Banks and Skydance TV. Brooklyn Decker (Grace & Frankie), Maximo Salas (Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies), Marley Aliah, Hayes MacArthur (Angie Tribeca), Mark Wystrach (The Eyes of Tammy Faye) and Shea Pritchard (The Summer I Turned Pretty) join previously announced real-life band members William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, and Jesse Golliher—along with Lilah Pate and Kelley Pereira. The band was previously featured in a Season 3 episode of Outer Banks, which is heading into its fourth season on Netflix.

Filming will begin this month. The series is set to premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

HBO Max dropped the official trailer for Season 2 of “Hacks,” which premieres on the streamer May 12 with two episodes, followed by two more each week until June 2. Picking up after stand-up legend Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) lost her Vegas residency, she and young comedian Ava (Hannah Einbinder) travel across the country to workshop her new act.

Additional cast includes Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Jane Adams, Christopher McDonald, Kaitlin Olson, Paul W. Downs, Poppy Liu, Rose Abdoo, Mark Indelicato, Meg Stalter, Angela E. After seven magnificently funny and poignant seasons, Netflix’s “Grace & Frankie” is coming to an end with the airing of its final episodes starting April 29. And what better way to celebrate than to look back at how the magic was made from the eyes of its stars, the incomparable Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, along with the show’s creators/showrunners/executive producers Marta Kauffman and Howard J. When “Grace and Frankie” debuted in May of 2015, it’s doubtful even creators Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris or stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin would have expected the show to have such long-lasting sucess. But the Netflix comedy was a juggernaut hit for the streaming platform, and kind of a unicorn in terms of its longevity. Upon its final season, which arrives this month, “Grace and Frankie” is the longest-running Netflix original series in the history of the service. But as the old adage says, all good things must come to an end.

On Thursday, the official trailer for the seventh and final season of “Grace and Frankie” was released by Netflix and the marketing materials tease an emotional farewell to the long-running comedy series.

Crew members of the Netflix comedy shared behind-the-scenes photos of the series’ final moments on-set at Hollywood’s Sunset Gower Studios on late on Wednesday. “When your whole #family agrees to an #epic #selfie #farewell #graceandfrankie I love you all,” said Luke Miller in his Instagram post.

The post by the co-cinematographer, along with Gale Tattersall, saw a giant selfie with the stars Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin in the center, surrounded by various members of the series’ team.
