Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson’s upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series “Brothers” has added five new cast members.

Oona Yaffe (“Sleepy Hollow”), Highdee Kuan, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, and Noah Carganilla are now set to appear in the series. Along with McConaughey and Harrelson, the cast also includes Holland Taylor, Natalie Martinez and Brittany Ishibashi.

The 10-episode “Brothers” was originally announced in 2023. The official logline states, “Matthew and Woody’s friendship is tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew’s ranch in Texas.”

Yaffe is repped by Paradigm Talent Agency and Thruline Entertainment. Kuan is repped by Buchwald, Authentic, Sloane Offer, and Shelter PR. Almeida is repped by Robert Stein Management, Greene Talent, and Jackoway Tyerman. Helton is repped by Paradigm and Schuller Talent. Carganilla is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group and Persona PR.

David West Read serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner on the series.

Apple TV+’s new comedy series Brothers is rounding out its cast with five new series regulars: Oona Yaffe (Sleepy Hollow), Highdee Kuan, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton and Noah Carganilla.

They are set to star opposite Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, who also executive produce alongside showrunner David West Read. Holland Taylor, Natalie Martinez and Brittany Ishibashi also star.

Brothers is a new, 10-episode half-hour series that reunites stars Harrelson and McConaughey in a heartfelt, odd couple love story revolving around their strange and beautiful bond. Matthew and Woody’s friendship is tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew’s ranch in Texas.

Almeida, Helton and Carganilla will play Matthew’s children while Yaffe and Kuan will play Woody’s children, sources close to production tell Deadline.

Apple TV+’s upcoming comedy series starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson has added Natalie Martinez and Brittany Ishibashi to the cast.

McConaughey and Harrelson, who are close friends in real life, play versions of themselves in the 10-episode series. The official logline describes the series as “a heartfelt odd couple love story revolving around their strange and beautiful bond” which is “tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew’s ranch in Texas.”

Martinez will play Matthew’s wife, Valentina, while Ishibashi plays Woody’s wife, Joy. They join previously announced cast member Holland Taylor, who plays Mac, Matthew’s mother.

If you’re anything like this TV Fanatic, you likely asked yourself, “How could a long-standing franchise like NCIS possibly go back in time? What is there left to tell in NCIS: Origins?”

The answer is an astounding amount! I was not prepared for that deep dive into the past. This show wasted no time jumping right into a case of love and drugs.

NCIS: Origins takes audiences into a past that feels as real and relevant as any story told in modern-day settings. The series boasts a cast as talented as they are young and attractive.

Despite the cookie-cutter procedural format, CBS’s NCIS: Origins has complex characters and an intricate story that speaks to the years of fantastic writing and plotting the franchise is known for.

The case is closed on the first season of Apple TV+’s series “Bad Monkey,” the Florida Keys-set comedic crime series based on the Carl Hiaasen novel of the same name. And while more than a few characters didn’t make it out alive, the good guys prevailed.

Among the victors was suspended detective-turned-health inspector Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), who, as he sat looking out at the ocean during the season’s final moments, seemed to have found a sense of peace — even if he was still suspended, and his romance with Dr. Rosa Campesino (Natalie Martinez) didn’t fall into place as he would have liked.

The finale of Apple TV+’s “Bad Monkey” kicked off with a shock: The Dragon Queen is dead. The opening moments showed the rest of last week’s confrontation between Gracie (Jodie Turner-Smith) and Eve (Meredith Hagner), with Eve shoving her, and a tree branch piercing through her chest, killing her.

“The Dragon Queen was a much different character in the book,” show writer and executive producer Matt Tarses explained to IndieWire. “She was an old woman and she was sort of pretty much evil;, didn’t have any redemptive qualities. And so early on, we wanted to make that character more nuanced. We made her younger, we gave her this kind of consciousness of a grandmother, in Ya-Ya. I love that character, and I love what Jodie Turner-Smith did with that stuff.”
