Every R. L. Stine Movie Ranked
Image
Before kids got into Stephen King, Scholastic Book Fairs introduced them to the tween horror maestro: R.L. Stine. The author's best known for his "Goosebumps" books, an anthology series where each book introduced a new horror for some intrepid young protagonist to confront. Werewolves, mud monsters, and Slappy the dummy, the last of whom Stine never understood the fanbase for, all gave us nightmares. But hey, at least we were reading!

"Goosebumps" is far from Stine's only enterprise, as he's also the visionary behind the "Fear Street" and "Mostly Ghostly" books, too. It should come as no surprise that many of his works have been adapted into films and TV shows over the years. Some you've undoubtedly heard of before while others will make you go, "Wait, that's an R.L. Stine project?"

Consider it homework to expand your Stine repertoire, and in case you don't have the time to watch all of them,...

Irt: Deadliest Roads - Blu-ray Review

I am a reality television fiend when it comes to Ice Road Truckers.

Yes, there is no ice this time around but that doesn’t make this series any less thrilling. Missing a few episodes when it aired and then just waiting for the chance to see all the episodes all at once when it hit Blu-ray this was really well worth the wait. For those of us who enjoy series like this Irt: Deadliest Roads does not disappoint.

Instead of cold driving truck drivers going across snowy strips of ice we’ve got a trio of drivers making their way on some of the most sinister roads in India. Brimming with genuine humor and the...

Lemonade Mouth

Directed by: Patricia Riggen

Cast: Bridgit Mendler, Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Naomi Scott, Blake Michael, Christopher McDonald

Running Time: 1 hr 53 mins

Rating: Nr

Due Out: May 24, 2011

Plot: A group of high schoolers start up a rock band after they’re sent to detention in the music room.

Who’S It For? If High School Musical was trying to sell the concept of high school to kids in elementary school, then Lemonade Mouth is aimed at middle schoolers. Boys and girls that are actually in high school won’t dig this one (or at least, they shouldn’t).

Movie:

Thankfully, Disney hasn’t dished out another form of the singing dollhouse that defines the sparkly and squeaky-clean High School Musical franchise. Lemonade Mouth gets its designer jeans a little dirty, as it plays with a fuller and larger list of characters, and even the most “Disney Princess...

'Lemonade Mouth's' Bridgit Mendler talks sequel, 'Good Luck Charlie,' and her solo album
Bridgit Mendler was on her way to work when we spoke and we imagine that's her story most of the time. This busy 18-year-old is juggling several projects right now ranging from her role on Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie," a newly signed record deal with Hollywood Records, and promoting the No. 1 cable movie of the year, "Lemonade Mouth."

"We're all ecstatic at how well it's been doing," Mendler tells Zap2it of the movie's success. "I think it's definitely a great surprise that people are responding to it well. It's good quality music, so I'm happy that people are responding to it nicely."

"Lemonade Mouth" follows a group of kids who meet in detention and then form a band that becomes the voice for themselves and their classmates who don't fit into the typically popular mold.

Mendler is joining her cast mates Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko and Blake Michael...

Disney's 'Lemonade Mouth' the sequel? Cast says 'It's all up to the fans'
The cast/rockers of The Disney Channel original film "Lemonade Mouth" are basking in the wild success of not only the movie, but the music itself.

Since the movie's April 15th release on The Disney Channel, the film has become cable's No. 1 original movie of 2011 and has reached over 20 million total viewers. The soundtrack recently hit No. 1 on iTunes and No. 4 on the Billboard 200 top album chart, ranking right up there with Adele, "Glee" and Foo Fighters. Not bad company to be in.

Zap2it spoke with the cast of "Lemonade Mouth" including Bridgit Mendler, Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Blake Michael, Nick Roux and Chris Brochu, as they prepared to meet with fans and sign some autographs at Downtown Disney Event on Monday (May 2).

So with the roaring success of what we hope becomes a franchise for the Mouse House, is there a sequel in the works?

Among a chorus of "Hopefully!

'Lemonade Mouth' Stars Talk Possible Tour Plans
'It's up to the people,' Disney co-star Blake Michael tells MTV News about the fictional TV band.

By Jocelyn Vena

The cast of "Lemonade Mouth"

The Disney Channel's latest movie, "Lemonade Mouth" debuted over the weekend. The feel-good flick about a ragtag group of teens who form a band named Lemonade Mouth is based on the book by Mark Peter Hughes, and last week we caught up with the gang who told us they'd be down to hit the road for a tour — if the fans want it.

"We have no idea," co-star Naomi Scott explained to MTV News about potential plans to take the TV band out on the road. Her co-star Blake Michael added, "It's up to the people."

The group has already performed on "Good Morning America," hitting the stage last week. And Hayley Kiyoko said if they were tapped to hit the road to perform tracks from the movie,...

It's Friday, and that means that the highly anticipated new Disney flick "Lemonade Mouth" premieres in a living room near you. The story follows a group of teens who start a band to deal with their high school angst and the stars, who stopped by the MTV News offices earlier this week, said there's a lot of heart in the story, based on the book by Mark Peter Hughes.

That heart, it seems, is reflected in the songs. "I want them to see the music in the movie, because I think that completely changes it," Bridgit Mendler said. "I think that the music alone is really fun."
