His only two roles were crime movies that featured both Roy Scheider and Tony Lo Bianco: The French Connection, as Lo Bianco's crooked brother, Lou, and a funeral mourner in The French Connection's unofficial sequel, The Seven Ups. Both are based on Scheider's portrayal of cops based on real life detective Sonny Grosso, who also appeared in each film.
