Exclusive: Al Madrigal and Jessica Marie Garcia are set to co-host the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s 2025 Impact Awards Gala on Friday, June 6, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The celebration honors the contributions of Latinos, creating a more inclusive society.

Honorees will be revealed at a future date.

Nhmc is a woman-led, non-profit civil and human rights organization committed to eliminating hate, discrimination, and racism toward Latino and marginalized communities. Since its founding, the organization has worked to empower the Latino community through policy advocacy, media representation, and coalition building. Nhmc advocates for increased Latino visibility through its policy work in Washington, D.C., and media advocacy and representation in Hollywood.

Madrigal is best known for serving as the Latino Correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Most recently, he recurs on NBC’s hit comedy Lopez vs.

Fans of Selena Gomez are very much aware of the health turmoil she faced when she suffered lupus-related organ damage. This forced her to undergo a kidney transplant, and although it was a success, the whole ordeal was shrouded in controversy.

The actress and model, who played Eve in the 2000 film, opposite Lohan’s Casey Stuart, shared her idea for a threequel during a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

Lopez revealed that he will be retiring from stand-up comedy after the release of his upcoming special on Amazon’s Prime Video.

Speaking to Tamron Hall on her syndicated talk show, Lopez said, “It is the last one. I’ve subjected the American people to enough of my crap. It seems like the right time; it’s been the one thing that has just never left me my whole life and it’s a wonderful place to leave it at this particular point.”

While he and his friends are hoping for one last hoorah before their adult life begins, Junior’s plans for a graduation party are interrupted by his new boss, who needs him to tend to a client’s yacht all day instead. Fresh off a rejected proposal, Aaron (Trevor Jackson) decides to join him and hopefully avoid Zoey (Yara Shahidi) at all costs.

Their friends have other ideas, though. Before long, this stranger’s yacht is filled to the brim with 20-somethings and bottles of alcohol.

Selena Gomez continued her commitment to mental health awareness Wednesday, hosting the inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit: A Night of Radiance & Reflection in Los Angeles. The event supported the Rare Impact Fund’s mission to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and expand access to mental health services and education for young people around the world.

“I’ve always wanted to do one but I thought we were too young to maybe do it,” Gomez, who launched the fund in 2020, told The Hollywood Reporter of throwing the benefit. “We’re in a good place and I guess why not now?
