Ed Ackerman was born on August 15th 1977, and raised in the small rural township of Columbia Station, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland. After graduating high school, he enrolled at The University of Akron, and became a top rated radio personality with radio station, WZIP-FM.

After graduating college, he quickly became a recognizable face through out the Cleveland comedy and acting community. He performed with the cast of Cabaret Dada; Cleveland's longest running improvisational comedy theater, for two years before making his way to Los Angeles in 2003.

In Los Angeles, he performs sketch comedy and improvisational comedy shows at The ACME Comedy Theater, and The IO West.
