    As a playwright his adaptation of the film Swimming With Sharks was produced in the West End, starring Christian Slater, Matt Smith and Helen Baxendale, when he was 23. Since then his original play Prince of Denmark was staged at the National Theatre and the West End and he has had several other plays produced internationally, including a world tour of his adaptation of Calderon's The Constant Prince.
