Graduated Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama in 2004 with her Bachelors degree in Theater. Received CMU's Charles Willard Award for Undergraduate Excellence in Musical Theater.

Gave birth to her 2nd child at age 35, a son named Ronan Laine Gallagher on March 13, 2017. Child's father is her husband, Brian Gallagher.

Found out that she was pregnant with her 1st child on her husband Brian Gallagher's 34th birthday (January 22, 2014) and announced her pregnancy 2 months later on her 33rd birthday (March 29, 2014).

Gave birth to her 1st child at age 33, a daughter named Viola Philomena Gallagher on September 18, 2014. Child's father is her husband, Brian Gallagher.
