The Met Gala navy carpet had barely just opened for business when Diana Ross arrived and effectively stopped traffic in all directions so the press and photographers could take in the moment.

The music legend — attending the event for the first time since 2003 — wore a white crystal embellished gown accentuated by a matching feather boa-trimmed cape and a show stopping hat to match. The gown’s train was so large that it required the aid of six handlers to help position it on the carpet in a scene reminiscent of Rihanna’s big moment at the 2015 Met Gala. One of those men helping carry the train happened to be Ross’s son, the actor Evan Ross.

In fact, Ross credited her son for being the reason she graced the steps of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. “My son persuaded me,” Ross told Vogue live stream co-host La La Anthony.

Singer Rihanna is adding another bundle of joy to her family! The “Work” singer has debuted her baby bump at this year’s Met Gala. This little one will be the Fenty Beauty founder’s third baby with rapper A$AP Rocky.

Ahead of walking the red carpet at the prestigious event, Rihanna was spotted at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City on her way to the Met wearing a two-piece outfit that showed off her growing bump. The “Diamonds” singer wore a two-piece gray skirt set, matching knee-high stockings and pumps. A rep for the singer confirmed with various news outlets that the couple is expecting.

On Sunday night’s episode of “Last Week Tonight,” the HBO host launched straight into his main story, which picked apart how the Trump administration has been determining who in the country is a criminal and deserves to be deported. One case Oliver zeroed in on was that of grad student Suguru Onda.

Onda had his legal status revoked after a criminal records check, but according to his lawyer, Onda didn’t actually have any criminal charges on his record. Apparently, Onda simply had two speeding tickets and a citation for catching one too many fish.

“That is ridiculous,” Oliver said. “If you can be flagged for deportation for catching one too many fish, then I truly fear for Henry Winkler.

In an 11-page legal complaint filed in the New York Supreme Court on Tuesday, first reported by The Independent, Patrick Cooper claims Tisci “discretely put a drug” in his drink when he was not looking after they met at the 2 Sisters 4 Brothers Restaurant and Lounge in East Harlem on June 29, 2024.

Once Cooper became “disoriented, confused, impaired, intoxicated, unaware of his actions and surroundings and unable to comprehend what was going on,” the complaint states that Tisci allegedly brought him back to his home and prevented him from leaving and “sexually assaulted him.”
