Almost seven years to the day since it began, we’re about to give a royal wave of farewell to Netflix drama The Crown, but series six might be its most eye-opening yet, as its first part (out on November 16) deals with the events surrounding the tragic death of Princess Diana.
Some critics’ hackles might be up already after the show previously attracted condemnation for historical inaccuracies, so it will be especially interesting to see how the show covers such an emotive and important event in royal history, and just where the story ends when the final episodes are released on 14th December.
Even so, many fans will be disappointed not to see more recent events get The Crown treatment, like that Prince Andrew interview and Harry and Meghan’s very public royal uncoupling, but is it so far beyond the realms of possibility that the show might have a...

Starz’s Outlander season seven episode seven finds Roger and Brianna getting to know Buck, while back in 1777, Jamie takes part in the first Battle of Saratoga. It’s a jam-packed episode that ends with heart-stopping cliffhangers for both timelines.
Episode seven, “A Practical Guide for Time-Travelers,” opens with the Continental Army set up in Bemis Heights, NY in September 1777. It’s just outside of Saratoga, and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) writes to Bree, telling her she’s uneasy about Jamie being a part of Daniel Morgan’s riflemen. She also reveals that she met William at Fort Ticonderoga and that seeing him made her miss Bree even more.
Meanwhile, the British army’s camped near Stillwater, NY, and William Ransome (Charles Vandervaart) joins the officers in a discussion of the state of the army. The Husseins are also involved in this meeting,...

Richard Rankin and Sophie Skelton in ‘Outlander’ season 7 episode 4 (Photo Credit: Starz)
Starz’s Outlander season seven episode four opens with a short time jump to Lallybroch in 1980. Two years have passed since Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) purchased the property, and the family’s living in a mobile home in the front yard while it’s being repaired. Jemmy and Mandy have reached the fighting siblings stage, and Mandy hits her older brother with a stick. Mandy only grudgingly says she’s sorry.
It’s revealed Bree and Roger won’t let the workers paint over the dining room murals or fix a large spot on the wall. There’s still so much work to be done that the estimate’s jumped up to what Bree describes as an “astronomical” figure. They’re halfway through their money and not even close to having bedrooms at this point.

A movie about Nazi zombies – why am I not more excited? The Outpost franchise started some years ago with a Ray Stevenson led action thriller about German WWII bastards looking for that war defining game-changer – but this isn’t Call of Duty. Outpost was fun, don’t get me wrong, but we’re now three films into a franchise that most horror fans didn’t even know existed, and that’s the disheartening vibe our most recent film embodies. Doing nothing to expand upon the idea of shambling undead German soldiers, Outpost: Rise Of The Spetsnaz re-introduces the idea of Nazi zombies and does absolutely nothing worth noting. More tired franchise ideas and generic genre play with a dash of gooey, gory distractions – did you expect anything else?
During battle, a group of Russian Spetsnaz soldiers are taken captive by German forces looking to test their new breed of soldier.

Perhaps I could be considered a philistine when it comes to vampire flicks but they the majority of them just simply bore me. And with the recent introduction of more vampire romanticism its lowered my expectations even more. Of course every now and again a game changer comes along and completely changes my attitude. However, UFO Films' 'True Bloodthirst' isn't likely to be one of those from looking once agsain at the trailer ahead of its premiere next week on SyFy. The Todor Chapkanov helmed flick, where the title alone borders on copyright infringement, stars Andrew Lee Potts ('Primeval'), Neil Jackson ('Make It or Break It'), Ben Lambert and sexy Spanish hottie Claudia Bassols -belown ('Rob'). 'True Bloodthirst' will screen on SyFy on Saturday 14 July in the Us. You can check the trailer below....

Syfy has a new Original Movie heading our way on Saturday, July 14th, entitled True Bloodthirst; and we have a look at the trailer for the flick, in which humans and vampires must band together against a new hybrid type of super vampire.
True Bloodthirst is directed by Todor Chapkanov, written by Rafael Jordan, and stars Andrew Lee Potts ("Primeval"), Claudia Bassols ("Rob"), Neil Jackson ("Make It or Break It"), and Ben Lambert (Vampyre Nation").
Synopsis:
Bucharest, Romania. The not-too-distant future, but an entirely different city. The human population is dwindling. The vampire population, meanwhile, is exploding. Having emerged from the shadows a decade earlier, vampires now walk openly amongst the human population, as a precarious peace exists between the two. A peace made possible by the introduction of a synthetic blood substitute, dispensed by the Romanian government, making traditional vampire feeding, and preying on humans, no longer necessary. But even so,...

This is an early look at an upcoming post-apocalyptic vampire thriller titled Vampyre Nation. This film is from the man who made Weather Wars and Monster Wolf, Todor Chapkanov. Vampyre Nation stars Andrew Lee Potts ("Primeval"), Neil Jackson (Push) and Ben Lambert. In the future, vampires and humans live in a cold war atmosphere, where a synthetic blood substitute keeps the bloodsuckers at bay, temporarily. This truce will last for only so long.
Chapkanov's previous films Weather Wars and Monster Wolf were both shown on the SyFy Network and this title will also likely show on this channel, in 2012. This director also completed work on Miami Magma, which was shown on television. Have a look at all the details for this production below, courtesy of UFO International.
