In putting Melody Brooks (Phoebe-Rae Taylor) on screen, director Amber Sealey hopes to show viewers they can talk to people with disabilities, even if that disability means the person will respond in a different way.

“People always ask how to make other people comfortable with disability,” Sealey said. “Part of it is just normalize it.”

The decision reflects confidence in the adaptation of Rick Riordan’s book series, which has been one of the most successful original shows on the streaming platform.

Season 2, which wrapped production in January, is scheduled to premiere in December, two years after the first season debuted. Broadway legend Patti LuPone is joining Season 3 of “And Just Like That,” though executive producer Michael Patrick King would not reveal what role she’ll be playing.

King told Entertainment Weekly on Friday that LuPone, who recently played Lilia Calderu on Marvel’s “Agatha All Along,” will have “an arc on our show this season.”

He also confirmed that Kristen Schaal of “Last Man on Earth” and “What We Do in the Shadows” will also be a part of Season 3, and that we’ll see more of Rosemarie Dewitt as Kathy, the ex-wife of Aidan (John Corbett).

With most horror films flopping at the box office and the dreaded Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey sequel coming out, it all felt wrong. But don’t worry because I have picked out the 18 best horror films that have come out this year. I haven’t ranked the films in the article and I will update the list as more films come out.

The ending of Parker Finn's Smile 2 was a bit of a shock to the audiences who watched the movie and the audience in the actual film. The brutal ending seems to inevitably doom the future of the horror franchise. The ending sequence is bold and daring regarding where it takes the franchise, but Smile 2 and its predecessor subtly present a loophole that could potentially save the next installment from the movie's shocking ending.

DeWitt’s C.C. is a stylish and composed New Age guru-type whom Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) encounter in their quest to find the Golden Fleece. She radiates warmth and empathy, but readers of The Sea of Monsters — the book on which season two is based — know there’s more to her than that.

Polyphemus is an ancient cyclops who was blinded by Odysseus long ago. He now tends animals and jealously guards the Golden Fleece on his private island.
