‘My Little Pony: Equestria Girls’ – To Be or Not to Be A Pony?
In 2013 Hasbro Studios did a pretty risky thing with one of their biggest franchises. They decided to take My Little Ponies and humanize them in a movie called My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. In that film one of the characters, Twilight Sparkles, discovers a mirror which allows her to travel into an alternate universe in order to recover a crown that was stolen from the Crystal Empire. Upon her arrival she is horrified to learn that she has turned into a human. This was a risky move for Hasbro because being magical ponies was their schtick.

Though there isn’t any four-legged characters walking around, I’m assuming it was a hit with the My Little Pony community because Hasbro decided to bring the Esquestria Girls back a few more times since. Now the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls have an all-new show which just premiered on Youtube. I had...

Ten Days in the Valley: Season One Ratings
Will ABC find a hit in the first season of Kyra Sedgwick's new Ten Days in the Valley TV show? The 2016-17 television season was not a good one for scripted dramas on the Alphabet Network. Olivia Swann, Shayan Sobhian, Nick Zano, Amy Louise Pemberton, Matt Ryan, Adam Tsekhman, Caity Lotz, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, and Lisseth Chavez in DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
The CW's latest superhero series DC's Legends of Tomorrow has passed the halfway point of its first season, which continues with the new episode Night of the Hawk, airing Thursday, March 10 at 8 Pm Et. Much like Arrow and The Flash, the show features numerous nods to DC heroes and villains, but Television Promos has debuted a new clip from tomorrow night's episode, which teases a nod to the network's first DC series, Smallville. The clip reveals that the show's main villain, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), has surfaced in the 1950s, where he has assumed the identity of Dr. Curtis Knox.

In the 2007 Smallville episode entitled Cure, Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) played Curtis Knox, a villainous, immortal doctor who was originally supposed to be Vandal Savage in the episode, working under an alias. However, the character was deemed to be off limits by the studio, so...

DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Clip Drops Smallville and Hall H Easter Eggs
The CW has released a fun clip from the eighth episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The clip includes a Smallville Easter egg and amusingly takes a shot at Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con.

The episode follows the heroes as they travel back in time to the 1950s to search for Vandal Savage. When they get there they find him posing as a doctor at a hospital under the name of Curtis Knox. Knox is the name of the villain in Smallville who was played by Dean Cain. He was an immortal doctor previously meant to be Vandal Savage, but the studio wouldn't let the Smallville producers use the name.

As for the Hall H jab, while taking a tour of the hospital White Canary looks down a hallway and asks what is down there. She gets the following reply:

"Oh, that's Hall H, the restricted ward. It's for Dr.

Stephen Amell in Arrow (2012)
Coming off a year in which Felicity alternately mourned and felt betrayed by Oliver, Arrow‘s Emily Bett Rickards was promised “lighter, more jovial” times ahead. Season 4 indeed delivered on that, but also so much more.

With the It whiz-turned-tech titan poised to get blindsided this Wednesday (The CW, 8/7) by the news that fiancé Oliver has a kid out there, TVLine invited Rickards to take stock of her Season 4 storylines to date, tease Felicity’s reaction to the William reveal and wrap her brain around one wild flash-forward grave theory.

Stephen Amell in Arrow (2012)
Just over two-and-a-half years ago, before she first booked her Arrow role, Caity Lotz could not have imagined that she would one day come to be regarded as one of TV’s premiere badasses.

Back then, “I was deep in my indie film world,” the actress recalls. “I was coming off of Mad Men and then doing The Machine, The Pact, those movies….

“And if you can go back, like, further than that, I didn’t think I’d be acting!” she continues. So to have played a key role on Arrow during Season 2, loom large for much of Season...

White Canary Gets A Love Interest In "Legends"
"Kyle Xy" and "Fringe" actress Ali Liebert is set to play the potential love interest for Caity Lotz's Sara Lance/White Canary in the upcoming The CW spin-off series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" says EW.

Liebert would play Lindsy Carlisle, a "soft-spoken, intelligent lady who is the ideal picture of 1950s womanhood and harbors a dark secret - she's a lesbian. Doomed to suffer alone in a backwards time, she finds herself falling for a girl from the future - Sara Lance."

The casting would seemingly mean the end of Sara's relationship with Nyssa al-Ghul (Katrina Law). The trade says Lindsy will arrive at a time when Sara's troubled and cold hearted assassin character is not entirely sure she's ready to care about someone else. It's not clear when Lindsy will first appear in the series which...

Ali Liebert, who in recent years has hung out in the 1860s (on Strange Empire) and the 1940s (as one of the Bomb Girls), next will call the 1950s home — as a guest star on The CW’s timey-wimey Legends of Tomorrow.

Liebert will appear in an episode of the midseason Arrow/Flash offshoot as Lindsay Carlisle, a mild-mannered, closeted nurse who awakens something in Sara Lance/White Canary (played by Caity Lotz) that had been dormant since her death (understandably!) and eventual resurrection via the Lazarus Pit.

Legends Of Tomorrow Adds Ali Liebert As A Love Interest For Caity Lotz's 'White Canary'
Here's a cool Christmas scoop for ya: Entertainment Weekly has learned that the CW has cast Ali Liebert (Kyle Xy; Fringe) as Lindsy Carlisle. Her character is being eyed as a potential love interest for Caity Lotz's Sara Lance, which will seemingly drive a stake through her relationship with Katrina Law's Nyssa al-Ghul. Carlisle has been described as "a soft-spoken, intelligent lady who is the ideal picture of 1950s womanhood. Although she might seem at home amongst the strict morals of the time, she harbors a dark secret: she’s a lesbian. Confused and scared, it seems she is doomed to suffer alone in a backwards time … until she falls for a girl from the future, Sara Lance." It's unclear when Liebert will make her season debut, but when she does, she'll walk into Sara's life just when the troubled hero needs her most. "When Sara first meets Lindsay Carlisle,...
