Chi-Long To

Before becoming a producer, Christine (To Chi Long) began as a screenwriter from 2003. Christine To is an acclaimed Chinese screenwriter, columnist, and featured speaker at CityU School of Creative Media for screenwriting. Throughout the years, she has written numbers of screenplays in various genres. She is highly regarded as one of the most versatile female screenwriter, who is able to create stories in different styles that accurately capture the audiences' thirst of emotional impact. Some of her works include Rise of the Legend (2014), Nightfall (2012), Jet Li is Fearless (2006), Secret (2007), Murderer (2009), Jiang Wu (2003), True Legend (2010), and more. Christine's unique approach of storytelling and explicit exploration of human nature have always raised massive social awareness among the viewers. With enchanting stories, wide acceptance from audiences, impressive box office records naturally come in place. Furthermore, Nightfall, Fearless, Murderer, and Rise of the Legend had enabled the lead actors to be nominated for "Best Actor" in the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Christine have written scripts for 10 feature films, most of which are distributed in China, Hong Kong, and the rest of Asia. These include martial art movies Rise of the Legend (2014) and Fearless (2006), which are distributed in the US. Fearless had a stellar box office performance in North America, grossing $24,633,730 USD. She was also selected by Hollywood Reporter as Next Gen Asia 2010.
