A contestant’s luck can change quickly on The Price Is Right, as one man recently stunned himself with his reversal of fortunes.
The popular gameshow has seen some surprising moments, including a contestant’s impressive Showcase Showdown bidding.
More recently, another contestant, Victor, achieved an incredible feat during the Wheel round and beyond.
With the Wheel, contestants get up to two spins to try to total $1, or the amount closest to $1. However, landing on $1 can be pretty rewarding.
The recent spinning display featured host Drew Carey yelling at the wheel and Victor ultimately running around the stage area after his surprising moment.
The spectacular highlight arrived after Victor attempted to win a brand-new vehicle in a pricing game.

As Victor gave the Wheel a strong spin, Drew asked him to give a shoutout, and he listed off multiple friends and family members.

The final four contestants of “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 19 had little time to celebrate their standings as they were woken up in the wee hours of the morning by Gordon Ramsay for their next challenge. Later in the episode, they each had to prove their worth during the most important dinner service to date. So how did it all play out?

On this week’s episode of “Hell’s Kitchen,” Gordon Ramsay gave out the coveted black jackets to the aspiring chefs he thought deserved to be in the Final 5 of Season 19. Mary Lou Davis and Declan Horgan received the first two thanks to their success in the “taste it now make it” challenge. Cody Candelario and Kori Sutton then earned their tickets to the black jacket lounge when they prevailed in the “briefcase ingredients” challenge. That left only Amber Lancaster and Nicole “Nikki” Hanna still in the kitchen to cook a dish resembling their childhood, with Chef Ramsay ultimately giving the final jacket to Amber. Did the host make the right decision, or did he eliminate the wrong person? Vote in our poll below.

“Leaving here like this sucks,” declared Jordan Savell after being eliminated on the 11th episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 19. Not believing Jordan was the true leader he was looking for, Gordon Ramsay took her jacket after a charity dinner service in which she almost served raw steak. “I just wasn’t ready to go,” said the 29-year-old executive chef from Texas during her tearful exit interview. “I gave it everything I have and I gotta make peace with that. Like Chef said, I’m a soldier. Maybe one day I’ll be a general.”

Apparently the fifth time on the elimination block was the charm for Marc Quinones, as he was finally forced to give up his jacket at the end of the 10th episode of “Hell’s Kitchen.”

One of the most popular “Hell’s Kitchen” challenges ever, the blind taste test, has finally arrived in Season 19. In this week’s episode, the nine remaining chef-testants wore blindfolds and tried to identify mystery ingredients presented to them by Chef Gordon Ramsay. The twist: if a person missed two ingredients, ice cream would be dumped onto one of their teammates. The winning team was rewarded with a helicopter ride around the Grand Canyon and a hotel stay at Caesar Palace’s private villa. The losers were punished and had to prepare countless steaks for dinner service. At the end of the night, which contestant ended up having to turn in their jacket?

“This definitely isn’t the way I wanted to leave ‘Hell’s Kitchen‘ tonight,” revealed Lauren Lawless after being eliminated by Chef Gordon Ramsay in the show’s eighth episode. This 30-year-old private chef from San Diego was one of the four contestants who competed in the cook-for-your-life challenge, and she was sent home when her filet mignon didn’t impress the host. “Going out for having an underdone steak with two minutes more to go, it really sucks. But I’m gonna keep holding my head high. I came in here as ‘Flawless Lawless’ and I’m still leaving here ‘Flawless Lawless.’ Nobody can take that away from me.”

In the eighth episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 19, the 10 remaining chef-testants faced off in a craps-inspired challenge in which they had to create dishes based on ingredients that started with the letters they rolled on the die. The winning team got to experience a high-wire act at Caesars Palace and a fancy lunch at Nobu. The losers were punished and had to prepare beef wellingtons and mushrooms. Later, in a shocking twist, Chef Gordon Ramsay canceled the night’s dinner service before it began and instead initiated a cook-for-your-life challenge. So how’d it all pay out?

“Sy’s winning personality and determination were enough to take her far, but a lack of experience made me say sayonara,” host Gordon Ramsay proclaimed at the end of the seventh episode of “Hell’s Kitchen.” He was referring to Syann Williams, the 26-year-old line cook from Atlanta who stole America’s heart during this Las Vegas-themed installment. Sy started out the season strong, winning the Punishment Pass reward in the second episode for her shrimp and grits dish. However, she wasn’t able to keep up that momentum and ended up being the eighth person eliminated.

Birthday boy Josh Oakley had nothing to celebrate during the sixth episode of “Hell’s Kitchen,” as he was eliminated in 12th place by host Gordon Ramsay. “I’ve never failed before in my life, so today does hurt,” said the Denver, Colorado native in his exit interview. “I’m disappointed in myself because Chef Ramsay tried to pull something out of me and I just didn’t have it. This sucks ’cause out of all days it is my 29th birthday and I’ll be spending it alone.” Will you miss Josh on “Hell’s Kitchen”? Sound off down in the comments section.

Usually on “Hell’s Kitchen,” host Gordon Ramsay decides who goes and who stays. But during the fifth episode of Season 19, one aspiring chef made the decision easy for him. Citing “mental pain and negativity,” Peter Martinez threw in the towel during dinner service and voluntarily quit Fox’s long-running reality TV show. That makes him the sixth person to leave this Las Vegas edition, following Kenneth McDuffie, Eliott Sanchez, Fabiola Fuentes, Drew Tingley and Brittani Ratcliff.
“If this is what it takes to be an executive chef, then the facts are there: I am not ready,” Peter explained after he exited the restaurant. “I don’t believe that every executive chef that’s established in the world has gone through all this mental pain and negativity. No amount of money is worth that stress.” Fighting back tears, the New Jersey sous chef concluded, “I just need to get back home.

"The Price is Right" is not known for its carnage (aside from the occasions when a contestant slips while spinning the big wheel), but model Amber Lancaster took a tumble that resulted in some actual set damage. She wasn't hurt, luckily. Which makes this very funny. Who knew that the light bulbs on the "Price is Right" set were actually breakable? I've always thought of the set as an ancient wonder that just arrived with all its sliding doors and showcase podiums and colorful doohickeys in tact. But no. It's full of Loew's furnishings. My heart is dropping like the loneliest Plinko chip.

"The Price Is Right" might be known for its sparkly prizes and beautiful ladies, but the show is revamping its format by launching a search for a male model.
CBS announced Monday that "The Price Is Right," currently hosted by actor/comedian Drew Carey, is searching for its first male model in nearly 40 years.
The male model search will air as part of a five-episode web series competition and fans will be able to vote online for their favorite hunk, according to the official website.
An open call is scheduled for Aug. 30 in Los Angeles.
Male model hopefuls will be judged on “qualities such as their verbal skills, posing and ability to properly showcase a product,” a press release revealed, according to Entertainment Weekly. The show's producers and female models will pick the six finalists.
Those six finalists will be revealed on Sept. 28, and viewers will then be able to vote online on PriceIsRight.
