Master photographer/cinematographer Fernando Montero Caballero studied at the State Film Institute in Moscow in Russia, earning the Master of Fine Arts with the degree of director of film and television (1984-1990). He's also conducted studies on Image technologies offered by Eastman Kodak Company; he has taught workshops, courses and seminars in the Goethe Institut, in the Film School of the Veritas University, Costa Rica; Channel 15 of the National University of Costa Rica and the Costa Rican Film Production Center of the Costa Rica Ministry of Culture.
Fernando has worked for various international Production Companies like Fresh Wather Entertainment (USA), Sttu Seegal Production (USA), Endemol Company (UK), Darlow Smithson Productions (UK) for the Discovery Channel; Fox Channel-Jerry Bruckheimer (USA), Bodog Productions (Canada), Reeliz Films (Mexico), MTV Channel (USA), The Endangered Wildlife Fundation (UK), Raiuno (Ita), Deutsch Welle (Germany). He has also worked in the production of Costa Rican television series such as "El Barrio" (190 chapters) and "La Pension" (89 chapters).
Fernando does freelance work for various production companies in the advertising industry, such as La Comuna Directores Asociados, 921 Producciones, Full Fierros Producciones, Maga-Cine Producciones, The Studio and Apple Box Productions.
KT has worked on the cinematography of various audiovisual productions, documentaries such as Promised Boat (1996) for Snowy River Productions; Bocaracá (1992), Conceptual art for a Documentary on Bocaracá Group of Costa Rican artists; Roberto Lizano: Portrait of a Painter (1992), production for Ileana Sotela Telecentre Channel 6; Mary Way or Portrait of Woman (1993) Department of Culture, Ministry of Culture and Youth (CR) and UNESCO; The Ocarina of Berry Hill (2011) and The Legislative Assembly in SINART (CR); Short Film: Catching a Mockingbird (2001) The Island that Produces; Low Tide (2010) South Central Productions; Like a Shout (2009) Bison Productions; The other Tombstone (2010) The Commune; The Bride (2011) The Commune; The Emigrant (2012) Zen Entertainment; and featured films such as "Password: A Look in the Dark" (2002) Latin-American Audiovisual Production and Father Port(2013) South Central Productions.
