Tom Christensen grew up in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He cut his professional teeth after graduating high school, performing musicals at the FrostFire Summer Theatre where he lived in a former convent with his fellow players.
Tom attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. As a freshman, he joined The Mask & Wig Club, an all-male musical sketch comedy troupe founded in 1889. During his senior year, Tom served as undergraduate chairman and directed the original show "Less Miserable."
After graduating, Tom moved to Los Angeles and began studying acting and improv. He was a member of several house teams at iO West in Hollywood. Tom won the United States of Improv tournament by performed a one-man, fully improvised musical. He taught improvisation at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, a performing arts college in Hollywood.
Tom holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business. He lives with his wife and son.
