Nearly every era of Cartoon Network has a legion of fans that would consider it the best. The most popular of all is undoubtedly the Cn City Era, which boasted an outstanding line-up of animated series and a collection of iconic bumpers between them. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's the lone era that no one would ever claim to be their favorite.

Infamously remembered for its focus on live-action programming, Cartoon Network's Cn Real Era remains the most controversial in the channel's history. To most fans, live-action series have no place on the channel, and their conception was a mistake from the start. To others, the era's faults don't lie in its concept but in its largely poor execution. Yet, like with everything, some fans remember this era fondly, primarily for the few series far exceeding their contemporaries' quality.

VH1 is launching a holiday movie slate and has drafted features from exec producers including Eva Longoria, Jamie Foxx and Nick Cannon.

The ViacomCBS network is launching its Naughty or Nice strand at the end of November through December with five made-for-television movies – Adventures in Christmasing, The Bitch Who Stole Christmas, Hip Hop Family Christmas, Let’s Get Merried and Miracles Across 125th Street.

Adventures in Christmasing centers around Parker Baldwin, a highly successful and meticulous talk show host who plans everything to a T, finds her Christmas plans upended when her network persuades her to spend three days in the wild with superstar adventurer & television survivalist Finn Holt for a holiday television event. The two butt heads until they find themselves stranded together in the wild with no food, unreliable shelter and no form of communication. Unexpectedly impacting each other, they come to realize life is the greatest adventure.

Comedy Central announced its annual 31-day holiday extravaganza, featuring two new movies: “A Clüsterfünke Christmas,” debuting Dec. 4, and “Hot Mess Holiday,” premiering Dec. 11.

Both of these movies will air at 7 p.m. The network will announce additional titles for its”31 Days of Going Home for the Holidays” programming slate at a later date.

“A Clüsterfünke Christmas” stars Vella Lovell, Cheyenne Jackson, Ryan McPartlin, Nils Hognestad, Rachel Dratch and Ana Gasteyer and follows the story of real estate executive Holly who heads to a small town to buy the quaint Clüsterfünke Inn and transform it into a resort. While meeting the owners, Holly finds herself distracted by their handsome nephew Frank. It is a parody of more traditional holiday rom-coms.

Anna Dokoza directs “A Clüsterfünke Christmas,” which was written by Dratch and Gasteyer, who also executive produce alongside Meghan Hooper, Trevor Rose, Josh Van Houdt, Danielle von Zerneck, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson.

The May 1 release of Avengers: Age of Ultron marks the "official" start of the 2015 Summer Movie Season and with that in mind, it's only appropriate to offer up a look forward at what's ahead over the next four months. The first red band trailer for School Dance has arrived, from writer and director Nick Cannon. Featuring an all-star cast that includes Bobb'e J. Looks like Sony Pictures Animation has decided on a title for it's animated sequel for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. In a new print ad the studio revealed the new title, along with some promo art for everything they currently have on their upcoming slate. The title? Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was released September 18th, 2009 and stars Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Bruce Campbell, Mr. T, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Benjamin Bratt. The film is directed by Phil Lord, Chris Miller.

New production company Soular Entertainment found a way to make four wishes come true with its film Wish Wizard, a story about two kids who wish their parents would listen to their dreams and then finds their lives dramatically change. The primary stars include Bobb'e J. Thompson (Fred Claus, "30 Rock," pictured), David Koechner (Get Smart, "Hannah Montana") and Josh Sussman ("Glee," "Wizards of Waverly Place"), some of the co-stars are Kimberly, Kabrina and Daria -- three children with life-threatening illnesses whose Make-a-Wishes were to be actresses. Another Make-a-Wish came true for Matthew who wanted to be a director. He co-directed a day with the film's offical helmer Andre Gordon while receiving guidance from Garry Marshall (Valentine's Day).

Good things come to those who wait and for those who feel as though they've suffered through a year of largely uninspired films up to now will likely breathe a sigh of relief at the sound of names like Darren Aronofsky, Sofia Coppola and Peter Weir. When director Matthew Vaughn's "Kick-Ass" smashes its way into theaters this weekend, you're bound to notice Hit-Girl, the unassuming little girl played by Chloe Moretz — who just so happens to be one of the most ruthlessly trained killers New York City has to offer. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 goes into productionio9 is reporting that a Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs sequel is currently in production. However, the original directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, will not be directing this film.

The new film is based on the second book in the series titled, Pickles to Pittsburgh.

Sources close to the production say that even though Lord and Miller are not helming this project the duo is going to be working on the story.

Before Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was released in theaters last fall, I had a couple of opportunities to preview footage from the film. It only hinted at the twisted and yet somehow purely earnest charms that directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller embedded in ambitious inventor Flint Lockwood's fantastical story. Suffice it to say that I loved the film as a whole -- although I'm not quite sure where I would have fit it in, in retrospect I would have included it in my Top Ten of 2009 -- but of all of these sequences I saw, one had me in stitches every time and ultimately became one of my favorite scenes in any movie released last year: the snowball fight.

The scene starts innocently enough as the town's top cop, Earl Devereaux (Mr. T) asks Flint (Bill Hader) for a favor for his son Calvin's (Bobb'e J. Thompson) birthday.

Meatballs still pour at the box office. The Sony Pictures Animation film "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" stayed at the top spot after two weeks with .6 million.

The all-star voice cast - Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Neil Patrick Harris, James Caan, Bruce Campbell, Andy Samberg, Mr. T, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Benjamin Brat, Al Roker, Lauren Graham, and Will Forte - managed to beat iconic action star Bruce Willis' sci-fi offering "Surrogates," which landed at second place with million.

Also new this week is the 2009 version of "Fame," which collected million at 3rd place, a paltry sum compared to the hype surrounding the loose remake.

The sci-fi/horror flick "Pandorum," starring Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster, also debuted this weekend, finishing at sixth place with .4 million.

"The Informant!" had no chance with meatballs pouring. Matt Damon's dark comedy finished a distant second from the computer-animated film "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," which opened with .1 million at the weekend box office.

"Meatballs" - starring the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Benjamin Bratt, Mr. T, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Al Roker, Lauren Graham, Will Forte, and Neil Patrick Harris - scored the top spot at the three-day weekend box office, beating the three other new releases.

"The Informant!" garnered .5 million, while Jennifer Aniston's romantic drama, "Love Happens," had .5 million and Megan Fox's horror comedy "Jennifer's Body" drew in a .8 million gross.

Meanwhile, Kate Beckinsale's "Whiteout" drops out of the top 10 just after one week. It sits at 11th place with million.

The classic children's book "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" spins a tall, tasty tale about a mythical land in which the sky rains orange juice and storms hamburgers, while every so often a pea-soup fog rolls in.

The how and why of this culinary weather — the meat and potatoes of the story, if you will — is never explained in Judi Barrett's slim 1978 book. We shut Dick's down. As some of the party moved towards the Hard Rock, we decided to call it a night. It was the only sleep I got the entire trip, as I was to be up and going at it full bore on Thursday with no plan of stopping for a second. 10:00 am was the Masters of the Web panel. Paulington was at the table, and all the guys arrived in their tway Twilight gear. Kevin Munroe, director of Dead of Night, moderated the presentation, kicking things off with an open discussion directed towards the audience. The framework of this verbal essay was on par with what we've seen in earlier years. The same old hobo backwash about running your own site, getting paid, and not getting laid.

Yes, we're aware that's a cheeseburger.

Cinematical got a sneak peek at several of the scenes from Sony's upcoming CGI film Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs recently, and about the worst thing we can say about it is that it's Pixar ... ish. Which is a bit like saying, "Gee, your watch sure looks like a Rolex." Not entirely insulting. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and Cloudy looks extremely sharp, the jokes are funny, and it made me very hungry. Plus it has a great voice cast featuring Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, Neal Patrick Harris, Andy Samberg, Tracy Morgan, James Caan, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Will Forte and Mr. T (!). So who's complaining?

San Diego Comic Con International has finally come up with the full schedule for the first full day of Comic Con 2009. From the programming list, it is revealed that Summit Entertainment as well as Walt Disney Pictures will be among those presenting their latest line-up of upcoming movies, such as "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" and "Alice in Wonderland", on Thursday, July 23.

Summit will make use of Hall H from 2:15 P.M. to 3:15 P.M. to give a special presentation as well as unveil exclusive footage of their three feature projects, "Astro Boy", "Sorority Row" and "New Moon". Especially for "New Moon", it is mentioned that surprise members of the cast will attend the presentation to answer questions.

In the meantime, Disney will dominate the Hall H from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. to present their upcoming slate, including "A Christmas Carol (2009)" and "Tron 2.0". Aside from the movies' presentation,...

With Michael Jackson's death occurring just three days before the Bet Awards, the show's organizers quickly overhauled it to become a tribute to the singer. And from covers of the singer's hit songs to clips from his iconic music videos to poignant tributes from leading artists, the ninth annual Bet Awards became a full-blown celebration of the life and music of the King of Pop.

The nearly four-hour show kicked off with New Edition performing a medley of Jackson 5 hits like "ABC" and "The Love You Save" that garnered a standing ovation from the packed auditorium. Then host Jamie Foxx came onstage dressed in copies of Jackson's iconic red leather jacket and single sparkling glove for an abbreviated performance...

IMDb says that Bobb'e J. Thompson (Role Models) has been a rapper since the age of 5. Shocking then that only now do I stumble upon this video of him. Anyway, here he is rapping about how he wishes he was Jewish so he could have a Bar Mitzvah and make some money. It probably won't win him a Grammy, but possibly a place in your heart, alongside your mother, Sarah Mclachlan, and myself.

The Origin Film? Whoop-doo!

The origin film has dominated the box office for most of May. We learned how Wolverine got his claws, how James T. Kirk came to captain the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, how John Connor came to lead the Resistance, and how Robert Langdon settled for that goofy-ass hairdo. Despite these tales being repetitive and unnecessary, they've pulled in record grosses. Some have been enthralling; others have left their fans irate. But all have been successful on some level. That can only mean one thing in Hollywood: More of the same. For each origin film that tops $100 million in ticket sales, another five are being placed into production. Why are they so popular? Because they breed familiarity. They are an easy sale item. Even though we know these epic myths and legends by heart, that won't stop some lofty director from churning them out...

Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards was filmed on Saturday night in La and started with a bang when Mel Gibson came out riding a horse and wearing a viking hat. He introduced Brad Pitt to induct Fight Club into the Guy Movie Hall of Fame. Brad kept it sassy saying, "Thanks sugart*ts," making a jab at Mel's DUI arrest in 2006. Halle Berry and Jamie Foxx continued the trend of fun and silliness, going at it on stage after she won the "Decade of Hotness" title. Sacha Baron Cohen got all decked out as Bruno to accept a trophy as Robert Downey Jr. and Clint Eastwood posed together backstage. Quentin Tarantino cozied up to Rosario Dawson when he accepted "Most Man-ticipated Movie" for Inglourious Basterds and Mickey Rourke received "Guy of the Year." 2009 MTV Movie Awards is on and it is unraveled that "Twilight" has been announced among the early winners. On the ceremony held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, the popular vampire drama has taken away three of the golden popcorn statuettes for Breakthrough Male Performance, Best Fight and Best Kiss.

The Breakthrough Male Performance was nabbed by its leading man Robert Pattinson, who overshadowed fellow nominees, Taylor Lautner, Ben Barnes, Dev Patel and Bobb'e J. Thompson. Meanwhile, for the Best Fight, the award went to the battle between Pattinson and his co-star Cam Gigandet.

As for the Best Kiss prize, Pattinson shared it with co-star Kristen Stewart. They beat out Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy of "Wanted (2008)", Freida Pinto and Dev Patel of "Slumdog Millionaire", James Franco and Sean Penn of "Milk" and Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year".

The English actor will reprise his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the movie - which has the full title of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and is being filmed in Vancouver.

Pattinson's popularity has led to his character's part being boosted in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel.

The 22-year-old heart-throb is a nominee in the Breakthrough Performance Male category of the 2009 MTV Movies Awards. He was nominated alongside fellow Twilight star Taylor Lautner as well as Ben Barnes, Dev Patel, and Bobb'e J. Thompson. Winners will be announced on May 31.

Asked to comment on his childhood photos, which were made public by Life and Style recently, Robert Pattinson says the unveiling of the shots is embarrassing. "Really? When I looked like a real ... weirdo?" he states, adding, "Actually, I saw one the other day."

Admitting he hates seeing pictures of him taken during his younger years make their rounds all over the media, Robert claims publishing someone's personal photos should be considered "illegal". "I swear to god that's illegal!" he insists.

Robert Pattinson, who will reprise his role as Edward Cullen in the highly anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon," recently was named as one of 2009 MTV Movies Awards' nominees. He was listed in the category of Breakthrough Performance Male alongside the likes of Taylor Lautner, Ben Barnes, Dev Patel, and Bobb'e J. Thompson. Winners will be announced on May 31.

Teen vampire movie "Twilight" led the MTV movie award nominations announced Monday with seven nods, just ahead of Oscar winner "Slumdog Millionaire", which earned six nominations.

In an online poll, "Twilight" earned nods for best movie, best female performance (Kristen Stewart) and breakthrough performance male (Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner). "Slumdog Millionaire" garnered six nominations, including best movie, breakthrough performance female (Freida Pinto) and breakthrough performance male (Dev Patel).

The awards will take place May 31 in Los Angeles and fans can vote for their favourites at the MTV Movies Awards site.

MTV has announced this year's final nominees for the upcoming 2009 MTV Movie Awards, which is led by "Twilight" and "Slumdog Millionaire" with the most nominations. MTV will be debuting two new categories "Best Song from a Movie" and "Best Wtf Moment." With fans taking charge to select the nominees of 2009 MTV Movies Awards, "Twilight" came up topping the nomination field as MTV unveiled its contending films on Monday, May 4. The Catherine Hardwicke-directed vampire drama scored seven nods from the eleven categories available, nabbing Best Movie gong as well as placing two of its actors, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in Breakthrough Performance Male.

Those two categories aside, "Twilight" also garnered a Best Female Performance nomination for leading actress Kristen Stewart.
