In Paris, 1993, Ivan Sadik founded his first production company
"Comupage Production" to produce the short film, Le repas (1993) (The meal), by
Jon Carnoy. In 1995, he left the company to work as a freelance line
producer. In 1998, he worked in Duran Duboi Group as a permanent line
producer for commercials. In 2000, Sadik founded a new production
company with Bernard Maltaverne, "Sam Alta films", to produce feature
films as The Chant of Noria (2002), "The Melody of the Waterwheel" by Tunisian director,
Abdellatif Ben Ammar. In 2002, they produced their second feature film,
"Qui veut devenir une star?" (Who wants to be a star?) by French
director Patrice Pooyard.
