Kristin grew up in Northfield, Minnesota and has two brothers, Craig
and David. After college she worked at a Minnesota studio working on
various animation projects for local and regional advertising,
including the Minnesota lottery. She taught at a Minneapolis area art
school before moving to California to attend graduate school. She and
her husband, Sam have lived in New Zealand as well as California while
working on various projects. Sam is a filmmaker himself, fitting small
cameras to various wildlife with spectacular results.
