Brad Steuernagel is a writer and performer from Minnesota he started as a stand up comics and a public access sketch show called "News of a Different Sort" in 1997 and trained in long form Improv comedy at the Brave New Workshop. In 1999 he moved to Chicago and trained at Annoyance Theater and IO Chicago. He also performed a solo sketch show at IO in 2001 and was a featured at the Chicago Improv Festival 2003 with his show "Local Comedian" , a spoof of one man shows by comics that have taken comedy classes. He moved to New York in 2002 and performed his solo show "Local Comedian" at UCB and stand up comedy at Invite Them Up stand up show. He also performed character stand up at the Toronto Comedy Festival in 2006. He formed a comedy sketch band called PKZ in 2008 and performed around New York stand up alt-comedy scene. By 2010 he was producing live spoofs of "Comics Unleashed" and "Last Comic Standing" hosted by a 1980s Comic spoof character called "The Goose." He produced a 12 episode web series about the character and his adventures trying to make a comeback in showbiz. In 2020 he release two documentary movies on his YouTube channel, "John Belushi: Art of Rebellion" and "Ritual of Rock." on July 3, 2021 he released "The SCTV Guide to Showbiz" documentary, a featuring length movie about the 1970s and 1980s sketch show.
