Clueless Fashion Revival: How Cher Horowitz’s Style Still Rules the Red Carpet
Image
Released in 1995, Clueless marked a major fashion reset. It moved away from the grunge style inspired by Nirvana and introduced a polished, preppy aesthetic. Cher Horowitz’s wardrobe helped reintroduce matching co-ord sets, slip dresses, and tartan skirts, effectively rewriting American youth fashion.

In addition to coining the immortalized expressions “as if!” and “whatever!”, the 1995 American coming-of-age romantic comedy film showed another side to ’90s fashion that people who aren’t that into grunge and hip-hop style instantly warmed up to.

The 1995 film Clueless marked a pivotal shift in fashion trends, steering away from the grunge aesthetic of baggy jeans and flannel shirts.

As noted by Varsity, “Clueless redefined the look of the 90s, renewing the plaid shirt into a plaid skirt”. This transformation popularized preppy,...

“There’s Been a Slight Rejig”: David Tennant Addresses Changes in ‘Good Omens’ Season 3
Image
The final season of Good Omens just got a major update from leading star David Tennant. Tennant plays the role of Crowley opposite Michael Sheen's Aziraphale in the first two seasons of Good Omens, which are both streaming on Prime Video. The show was renewed for Season 3, and it even began production last year before it was paused amid sexual assault allegations against creator Neil Gaiman. Not long after the show hit the pause button, it was announced that Good Omens would indeed wrap up with a third season, but it would only consist of one installment that will be one hour and 30 minutes long. Tennant recently sat down with The Independent, and he provided an update on the final season, admitting that it “would have been difficult to leave it on a cliffhanger”:

"We're doing Good Omens again. We're going back to do the final. We're doing a final.

Last week, the long-awaited first season of Marvel Studios' "Daredevil: Born Again" came to an enthralling and exciting conclusion. Daredevil: Born Again Showrunner Teases A Big Change For Bullseye In Season 2 And Possible Defenders Reunion
Image
Daredevil: Born Again ended with the Man Without Fear vowing to take back his city from Mayor Wilson Fisk. He's going to need an army to do so, and the handful of honest cops seen in Josie's Bar surely won't be enough to help turn the tide.

For fans, the hope is that Daredevil might reunite with his fellow Defenders: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Talking to TV Insider, Daredevil: Born Again showrunner Dario Scardapane was quick to rein in expectations...but didn't close the door on some cameos.

"The idea that New York is in a really tough place and that Hell’s Kitchen and Daredevil’s world includes other people, some of whom we have not seen yet... it makes a certain amount of sense that the world is going to expand a little bit," he teased. "Now, a full-fledged Defenders reunion, I don’t know about that.

Daredevil: Born Again’s near-perfect season 1 is missing one major piece
Image
It might’ve taken seven years to get there, but finally, Charlie Cox has been able to continue his legacy as Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Following the unceremonious cancellation of Netflix’s Daredevil series and the rest of the ‘Defenders’ shows, fans were left twiddling their thumbs and waiting for the rights to expire to see whether any of the old guard would leap into the MCU. Our prayers were answered when the Man Without Fear finally popped up in Spider-Man: No Way Home, with beefed-up appearances in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo. Although 2021’s Hawkeye sowed the seeds of a full Daredevil revival, we had to wait until March 2025 for Daredevil: Born Again to be born again.

There was a time when no one was sure what was going to happen with Daredevil and the rest of the Defenders, and while it was always likely that...

“I’m being intentionally cagey”: ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Showrunner Has Heard Your Defenders Plan But There’s a Major Issue

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again S1: Episode 9

The season finale of Daredevil: Born Again premiered earlier this week. And with it, a lot of loose ends have finally been secured (we finally know who killed White Tiger). But for each question answered, we have a couple more awaiting full disclosure in season 2.

For instance, where on earth is Bullseye? Does ‘white-suit’ Wilson Fisk finally see himself as the one and only Mayor Kingpin of New York City? Oh, and will The Defenders reunite with Matt Murdock to save everyone from Fisk’s relentless corruption? If ‘The Man Without Fear’ really needs an army, that last one would certainly be the vigilante’s dream, wouldn’t it?

Indeed, the fans would love it. A crossover like that would hit like a hot dog on an overcast day in Hell’s Kitchen. But as showrunner Dario Scardapane would tell you,...

'Dexter: Resurrection' Is Intended To Last for "Years" According to Michael C. Hall and Clyde Phillips
Image
Originally premiering on Showtime in October 2006, Dexterquickly became a cultural phenomenon, thanks to its dark take on the flaws within the US criminal justice system. Within seven years, the crime series ran for eight seasons and carved out a giant fanbase while slicing through several ratings records. Though the latter seasons struggled to maintain critical acclaim, the franchise found new life in the sequel miniseries, Dexter: New Blood. The criticisms have lingered, but the Dexter franchise continues to expand, spawning prequels and sequels, including the much-anticipated Dexter: Resurrection. The new sequel series will continue the story while rectifying the divisive ending of its predecessor, and now franchise star Michael C Hall and creator Clyde Phillips have teased an ambitious vision for its future.

The previous sequel series, New Blood, picked up a decade after the events of the original and told a self-contained story in a miniseries format. The ending,...

Showtime has tasked Phillips with continue to build up the Dexter franchise, with the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin premiering back in December and a New Blood follow-up called Dexter: Resurrection heading for a June premiere. Filming on Dexter: Resurrection is currently underway – and Vanity Fair has just unveiled several images from the show! You can check them out at the bottom of this article.

Daredevil: Born Again Directors On Why [Spoiler] Wasn't In The Final Scene, Fisk's Evolution, And Season 2
Image
Moon Knight and Loki directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead helmed the first, eighth, and ninth episodes of Daredevil: Born Again, all three of which were written and produced post-creative overhaul.

In the closing moments of the season 1 finale, Matt Murdock embraces his Daredevil persona and assembles some key allies in Josie's Bar to take the fight back to Mayor Wilson Fisk. However, none of them are Defenders or superheroes, leaving fans to question why the Man Without Fear wouldn't seek out help from his fellow vigilantes.

Talking to Phase Hero, Benson explained why the decision was made not to bring back Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist for Daredevil: Born Again's final scene. Ultimately, it boiled down to not making things too easy for Matt heading into season 2.

"The dramatic beauty and also just the beauty of the tragedy of the season, and the oddly emotionally satisfying thing about that conclusion,...

Image
Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Finale

Daredevil: Born Again brought its first season to a blistering conclusion, with several cliffhangers now in play ahead of Season 2. With Mayor Fisk declaring martial law on the city of New York, The Punisher about to bust his way out of Fisk’s prison, Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye, free in a city that has zero tolerance for vigilantes, and Matt Murdock preparing to assemble an army to take on the corrupt Mayor and his team, many fans believe that Season 2 now has the perfect path to give fans something they have wanted for years – the return of the other Defenders.

Since it was announced that Daredevil would be entering the MCU, with Matt Murdock’s first appearance coming in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home and his Daredevil return happening in Echo, fans immediately began calling for the return of other favorites,...

Did Luke Cage Appear in ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ and Will He Be in Season 2?
Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe keeps expanding, and ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has us buzzing about street-level heroes. With Charlie Cox back as Matt Murdock, the show dives into gritty New York crime stories. One question I keep hearing is whether Luke Cage, the bulletproof hero of Harlem, shows up in this series. Let’s break down his involvement in the first season and what might be coming in season two.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ premiered on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, with nine episodes. It picks up after the Netflix series, focusing on Matt Murdock’s battle against Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, who’s now New York’s mayor. The show brings back familiar faces like Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. But does Mike Colter’s Luke Cage, a key player from ‘The Defenders’, make an appearance? He doesn’t appear in season one. Despite hopes,...

Daredevil Born Again Finale Hints at Netflix Defenders' Return In Season 2
Image
As the Kingpin conflict heats up in Daredevil: Born Again, the Disney+ series might be teasing that other members of the Defenders will return in Season 2.

Charlie Cox's Daredevil was the first of Netflix's Defenders heroes to return under Marvel Studios in 2021, followed most recently by Jon Bernthal's Punisher. But for now, the other leading streaming heroes of Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, and Finn Jones' Iron Fist remain absent (for now).

Daredevil: Born Again's Season 1 Finale Teases The Beginning Of A Marvel Comics Team
Image
Spoilers for "Daredevil: Born Again" follow.

"Daredevil: Born Again" season 1 ended on a downer note for Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox). His greatest enemy, Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), is no longer just the mayor of New York City, he's the Big Apple's dictator. With martial law and an Anti-Vigilante Task Force on his side, Fisk outmatches Daredevil more than ever before. To take him down, Matt tells Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) they'll need an army.

What could that army look like? At the episode's end, Matt brings together his current allies: Karen, law partner Kirsten McDuffie (Nikki M. James), former detective Cherry (Clark Johnson), current (and honest) cop Angie Kim (Ruibo Qian), etc. So, not a whole lot of superpowered heavy hitters. Who else could this army enlist?

Punisher (Jon Bernthal) also escaped imprisonment by Fisk, so he's probably going to be back for the next battle. This...

Does The Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Finale Feature An Appearance From Any Of The Defenders?
Image
The Daredevil: Born Again season 1 finale arrives on Disney+ in mere minutes, and in case it wasn't already obvious, "Straight to Hell" is going to be a must-watch.

However, we're sure you're all eager to know about cameos. It's not exactly a spoiler to say that Tom Holland's Spider-Man doesn't show up, but what about the Man Without Fear's fellow Defenders?

When Daredevil premiered on Netflix, it was followed by Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. The leads of each show then teamed up in The Defenders, a so-so crossover event that assembled a street-level group of superheroes for a battle with Elektra and The Hand.

Unfortunately, the Daredevil: Born Again season 1 finale doesn't feature an appearance from any of the Defenders.

Krysten Ritter seemed the most likely candidate, given that she's repeatedly expressed interest in playing Jessica Jones again. Mike Colter has said he's open to the...

Dexter: Resurrection First Look- Michael C. Hall’s Serial Killer Cheats Death for a Thrilling New Chapter
Image
Behold your heart, fans. Michae C. Hall defied death to appear on Dexter: Resurrection as Morgan, a morally gray serial killer. The first look at the upcoming sequel series transports Hall’s character to New York City. The palpitation will return, with Hall honing the black gloves and his edgy brain to silence society’s alleged wrongdoers.

The first impression is truly chilling and instantly brings to mind the dark world of Dexter Morgan. The lighting has a haunting greenish glow, which creates an eerie, almost otherworldly atmosphere that perfectly fits the show’s twisted vibe. It captures Hall’s character’s gritty and unsettling presence, leaving you with a racing pulse just thinking about it.

First 'Dexter: Resurrection' Images Reveal Michael C. Hall, Uma Therman & Peter Dinklage
Image
The Dexteruniverse is expanding once again with another continuation series, this time set after the events of the short-lived revival series Dexter: New Blood. While fans were almost sure that the titular vigilante serial killer had finally met his fate, Resurrection will see Michael C. Hall once again portray Dexter. He will be facing a violent past and present that will surely bring about another exciting chapter in the never-ending franchise.

Courtesy of Vanity Fair, a pair of new images from Dexter: Resurrection were released featuring Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, James Remar as Harry Morgan, David Zayas as Angel Batista, Uma Thurman, and Peter Dinklage. The star-studded affair follows a new page in Dexter's life as he is distant from his son, which is quite understandable after Harrison killed his father in the New Blood finale (or at least tried to). Meanwhile, a...

For eight seasons and 96 episodes, from 2006 to 2013, the series Dexter ran on Showtime, telling the story of Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who is also a vigilante serial killer. ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ Blu-ray Review
Image
Stars: Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, Krysten Ritter, Lee Majdoub, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Alyla Browne, James Wolk | Written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, John Whittington | Directed by Jeff Fowler

The speedy blue hedgehog returns for a third instalment in Sega’s Sonic franchise, based on the popular video game series. This time around, the film is actually an improvement on the previous two movies, thanks to a couple of key factors, namely Jim Carrey pulling double duty and an inspired voice performance from Keanu Reeves.

As teased in the previous movie’s post-credits scene, the villain this time round is Shadow (Reeves), a red and black space hedgehog who closely resembles our spiny hero, and is out for revenge, following a traumatic event in his past. He’s aided in his revenge mission by 101-year-old Professor Gerald Robotnik...

Krysten Ritter Fuels Rumors of Jessica Jones Return in Daredevil: Born Again
Image
Jessica Jonesstar Krysten Ritter hints at a future for her character in Daredevil: Born Again.

Ritter recently shared a photo of Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox on her Instagram reading her book. As innocuous as this might be otherwise, some fans have taken it as a sign that the former is spending so much time with the latter thanks to an appearance in the second season of the hit MCU series, which is currently in production.

Fans' suspicions have only been emboldened by Marvel head of streaming, television, and animation Brad Winderbaum's previous statements, which also hinted at a return of the rest of the Netflix Defenders in Daredevil: Born Again. "I can't say much, but I'll tell you that it's so exciting to be able to play in that sandbox.

Jessica Jones Star Krysten Ritter Prompts Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Return Speculation With Insta Photo
Image
Do we now have confirmation that Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again? Not exactly, but the actress has dropped what might be her biggest hint yet that she is set to reprise her roles as the Man Without Fear's fellow Defender.

Though we had been led to believe that Netflix's Marvel shows were no longer considered canon when Marvel Studios announced brand-new MCU content would be developed for the Disney+ streaming service, things clearly changed after Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) later returned for a memorable role in the Echo series, and Daredevil: Born Again has essentially served as a fourth season of Netflix's original Dd show.

It also sounds as if there could be plans in place for the rest of the Defenders.

While speaking to EW in a recent interview,...

Dexter: Original Sin renewed for season 2
Image
Dexter Morgan’s origin story will continue as it’s been announced that Dexter: Original Sin has been renewed for season 2 at Paramount+ with Showtime.

The prequel is set in 1991 and follows Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. “When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness,” reads the official description. “With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcement’s radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.” A writers room for the new season will begin work soon, with production dates set to be announced later.

Marvel just introduced an important villain to the MCU
Image
It’s the dawn of a new day for the Man Without Fear, and as Daredevil: Born Again rises from the ashes of the Defendersverse, he’s finally being amalgamated into the mainline Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Although it wasn’t always the plan, there have been plenty of returning faces and newcomers alike. Alongside Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, newcomers included Kamar de los Reyes’ Hector Ayala, Camila Rodriguez’s Angela del Toro, and the mysterious Muse (although the twist that it’s Hunter Doohan playing him won’t come as a surprise).

Marvel Studios has already mapped out multiple seasons of Born Again, with this freshman outing being loosely based on the “Devil’s Reign” arc from the comics. We’ve just met another new face pulled directly from the pages of Marvel Comics, as Jeremy Earl joins the MCU as Cole North. While we’re expecting a typical MCU twist on the character,...
