However, recent footage from Peacemaker season 2 and Superman have revealed that the Dcu seems keen on exploring the concept of pocket dimensions.

So… there’s a new Peacemaker in town, and he doesn’t really know who the current Peacemaker is. Or is it the other way around? Well, James Gunn’s Peacemaker will be seen in the second season of the iconic show, but he isn’t the only one.

The first teaser for Peacemaker Season 2 just dropped, and it seems that Gunn has very brilliantly sought a connection between his version of Peacemaker and the Peacemaker from the Dceu. Well, fans are confused and excited at the same time.

The first trailer for Peacemaker season 2 kicked off with the "Justice Gang" and ended with the title character pointing a gun at another version of himself. Unsurprisingly, that's quickly led to speculation about the series featuring some type of Multiverse element. 

Peacemaker season 2 was in the works before DC Studios was formed, no great surprise when the first season, which spun out of the events of 2021's The Suicide Squad, was a critical and ratings hit on Max. 

Many fans have raised questions about how Peacemaker season 2 will fit into the wider Dcu tapestry, especially as some moments from the Dceu remain canon, while the majority of others do not. Complicating matters in the case of Peacemaker is the fact that all of the show's leads will return, played by the same actors, despite nearly everyone else being recast.

DC Studios/Max released the first full trailer for the second season of Peacemaker earlier today, and while cameos from members of Superman's "Justice Gang" arguably got the most attention, the very last shot may have confirmed a potentially game-changing fan-theory that's been doing the rounds since the show entered production.

One of the most anticipated superhero movies of the year just got a thrilling new look. ScreenRant has officially released a new image from Superman, the debut Dcu film from writer/director James Gunn that’s due in theaters on July 11. The new image shows David Corenswet’s Man of Steel standing in the Fortress of Solitude with Krypto and one of the robots who inhabit the fortress and help care for Superman. In the film’s timeline, this image likely comes not long after the recently released sneak peek that played ahead of A Minecraft Movie, which saw Superman return to the Fortress of Solitude to heal. Not that we had any reason to be worried about the Kryptonian hero, but he seems to be feeling much better in the newly-released image.

It’s natural for studio co-founder and CEO Tom Quinn to think about capitalizing on the moment, plot to expand his arthouse success and see his small but mighty endeavor financially headed in the direction of his rival A24, last valued at $3.5 billion.

But in a sign of complicated times for M&a in general and arthouse studios in particular, Neon remains in a nether space, with a valuation bankers and dealmakers put at only $200-$250 million.

Back in 2004, Christopher Smith made his feature writing and directing debut with the horror film Creep, which starred Franka Potente as a young woman who discovers a hideously deformed cannibal living in the London Underground. Now, Screen Daily reports that Smith is set to direct a reboot of his film – and since another horror franchise has taken over the name Creep, this reboot is called The Creep.

Production on The Creep is scheduled to take place in the UK this fall. Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Andy Nyman (Wicked) and rapper Aitch have signed on to star in the film, which will (as expected) be set in London’s shadowy underground. The story follows a struggling artist (Jobson) forced to return to her criminal drug-running past. Andy Nyman plays a captive well-versed in Creep’s nefarious behavior, while award-winning rapper Aitch plays Natter G, a famous drill rapper with natural survival instincts.

Exclusive: The Fyre Festival, the infamous music event founded by Billy McFarland and Ja Rule that was explored in two separate documentaries, is getting a new life as a music streaming service.

Deadline understands that Shawn Rech, who co-founded the TruBlue streaming service with former To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen, has acquired some of the IP of the event including two trademarks that will allow him to launch the service.

While many of you will know Dee Bradley Baker best for his role as Captain Rex in The Clone Wars (and as The Bad Batch's fan-favourite lead characters). However, what you might not realise is that the actor also has a unique talent for voicing animals. 

His latest role in that realm is as King of Kings' Willa the Cat, and Baker recently sat down with us to talk about how he approached the feline standout.

During our conversation, we asked the Star Wars veteran whether he'll be back as Christopher Smith's beloved sidekick, Eagly, in Peacemaker season 2. He had to choose his words carefully, but it sounds like it's happening. 

"Oh, I was very, very pleased with Eagly and I really enjoyed Peacemaker," Baker shares in the video below. "I think all I can say is I'm not allowed to say anything. Maybe that tells you something, I don't know.
